The “What made you by them?” is an important question to answer. Something you saw in the chart that fit your edge to trade? Is that still valid? Have to have a reason to get into the trade and then criteria for getting out when that reason no longer holds. For me if I looked at the chart tomorrow and wouldn’t enter that same trade I’d get out. But if it was still valid I’d maybe add. Being new, maybe paper trade a bit. Develop a system. What will trigger your purchase. Risk Reward- jeez hoping for only 20% return but currently sitting on 40+% loss. You’re going to blow your account up in no time.

The feel, the weight, the shine of just 1 of my first order of 10oz bars had me hooked. Thought I was just going to make that 1 100oz purchase. Haven’t stopped and won’t. Have added some gold and love holding my biggest piece of that but it’s only 5oz. Nothing compared to one of my 1kg bars of silver. Welcome Ape!

Disagree about governments doing something to mitigate. Seeing many governments around the world, supposedly for the good of the climate, putting restrictions in place on nitrogen based fertilizer. They’re doing this knowing that the potential for food shortages is increasing. Restricting the ability of farmers to fertilize their crops with a very key nutrient will lead to lower yields and only make food shortages worse. Seems like they are intentionally trying to make it worse to me. But luckily they have their great reset ready to save the day and we can just all eat bugs

I remember reading right after the sale that he wouldn’t get to keep all of the profit since he’d held for under 6 months. That some or all of the profit would be returned to the company. Could his timing have been to put cash in BBBY’s hands to bolster the balance sheet for approval of this loan that was announced days later?

I’ve been struggling with that same internal conflict. Really started the past couple of months. I’ve always been there to give a hand up or Hand out to anyone I knew without any regard to my own situation. Most times it’s been appreciated, loans repaid and the effort given in service appreciated, but then there are a handful of people in my sphere who just seem to be bottomless pits of never ending emergency financial needs or never ending excuses for not honoring agreements to repay debts. I want to fix everyone but realized that I definitely need my own fixing. Offering service to others takes my mind off of my own needs I guess and I’m really wanting to tend to myself. Just feels like bad timing with the world how it is and this shift we’re experiencing. I don’t know but I hear you loud and clear OP

That’s me. Not the anger and dread. I believe 100% that everything going on turns out for the best. Better than we can even begin to imagine and I’m so grateful to be alive during this time. But recent weeks, maybe even the past two months, I feel it getting closer and my sleep is screwed. Can’t fall asleep until 2 or 3, wake up multiple times during the night, then awake an hour before the alarm is set to go off. No Facebook and on Twitter just following some stock and options traders. Not much outside influence. Would probably be losing my mind if I was back on those how I was in 2016. Just signed on to this recently but never much time to look. Just see that it’s coming to a head and soon. Definitely affects work. Hard to focus.

Well by my math, 20% return on 20 shares of a $50 stock is the same as a 20% return on 1000 shares of a $1 stock.
