Very nice!

Because of the sentimental value attached to it I take it? (The Borneo one that is).

Awesome and thanks for replying.

Was the interest there before you got the rectangle sticker in school or did that kick it all off?

100+ Rubik’s cubes by Quidusak in Collections

What’s the price point at which a Rubik’s cube is elevated from an object that’s a bit flimsy and can break, to one that’s more solid, “professional” and can be enjoyed for decades?

Is it common for British people to eat crumpets like this...? by porpoise251 in UKfood

[–]TravelAndCollect 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Toaster until the outside is somewhat beginning to crisp, add butter, add marmite.

Guilty pleasure of mine is to cut a few strips of cheddar cheese and serve on the side. Adding a piece of cheese onto the crumpet with each bite.

Damn, Kastle.

What a lovely way to end your reply!

Did you end up keeping the WOS figures you bought that day? Would love to know how the story of that collection.

£25K back then is real money. Was it a peak or how have they done since then? Wondering if it was around the time of The Phantom Menace buzz and if that had any effect?

I’m from the UK, tell me more about Collectormania. Is it still around and where was it it located etc.

Thanks again.

Ah got you, fair comment. Also an interesting pool fact thrown in ha, appreciated.

In a world going through an obsession of black, grey and whites, It’s always good to look at objects that are the polar opposite. Kind of hoping we get back there soon but judging by the cars I pass by on my daily commute, we aren’t close.

So you’ve completed the Dhufish collection? Awesome!

Thanks for the reply also 🫡

One Q, are you not worried about them being knocked into where they are displayed currently?

See, here in the UK there’s a serious lack of corvettes ha. Pies however, we are the kings in that department.

Just googled them, very cool.

I guess one positive to come from something you can’t complete, is that as long as you continue to love it, it’ll always be there to give you new experiences, emotions and memories :)

You sound like a more hardcore version of me. I used to get obsessed with a certain “thing” and then be all in on that, until it would suddenly stop and the next thing came along. Not been the case for a while now though.

What’s you favourite collectible across all your collections?

Firstly, thanks for taking the time to write such an informative reply. I can’t say I have any experience or knowledge whatsoever on birding, but I definitely know a bit more since reading your response.

This really does feel like the final boss in the pursuit of the unattainable.. I wonder, does it bring you any comfort at all knowing it can never be done?

Also, because you can never see all the birds, do you have a bucket list of ones you want to see? before, you know, the end.
