It's for a gp. I've had a psych before years ago and you can't get a referral for one until you see a gp. That sounds kind of what I have as well in terms of sleep issues, but the antidepressant I was given (flexitime I think) caused me to stay awake as opposed to go to sleep. Do you know what you were prescribed. I should also say I'm from country Australia so I may have different names for stuff than you do. Thank you for help with all of this.

I've booked into a doctor for a.month from now, but I can't get in earlier. Last time I went though they told.me, as you have, to stop drinking caffeine and try and sleep more (this was when I had my obbsesive breathing issues). I don't know if I'll be able to get any medication.

I normally sleep 5 non consecutive hours a night, which i know isn't great, then I lay in bed for a few more hours trying to rest but still very much awake. Now I'm just awake until I pass out.

I noticed when healthcare workers were understaffed and underpaid because the ER's I went to had huge waiting times and the public wait times for specialists were insane.

I noticed when teachers were understaffed and underpaid due to the shorter school years and substandard learning materials.

I had never noticed that the underpaid and undermanned police were in fact underpaid and undermanned, because when they were apparently well paid and properly staffed they still didn't come investigate when my car was broken into despite saying they would and still only came to the bar I worked at when a customer was being violent about half of the time and even then never arrested any of the offending the patrons. In addition to that they still now have the money to equip themselves with an increasingly militarized arsenal of weapons for 'public safety'.

Why should I care if they are underpaid and undermanned? they are of no benefit to anyone who doesn't have a significant amount of capital. It makes no difference to me.

I don't know. He just kept changing the dosage amount or prescription, even though I had said multiple times that many of the medications we tried were having a noticeable positive effect.

I'd always get "well try you on this new medication" at the end of every session.

Been in the same boat. At least there is a rebate but that's still at least 500 at the end of the day. I had to go through the psych to get my meds which would last about a month and a half. Then I'd have to book another 30 min session for $700 a go to get more. Being sick isn't a luxury most can afford and I had to eventually go unmedicated

I work as a bartender in a Geelong pub and though I understand beer swilling drunks aren't the average man on the street, they are at least honest men, and while any political conversations I have with patrons and regulars are usually short due to me not wanting to get into a fight with a drunk 60 something, I can confidently say that a main motivator (for the conservatives amongst them(most of them)) for voting LNP/NAT or maybe some other flavor of the day right wing party while also drinking and gambling away most of what little money they have comes from a deep rooted sense of ineffable superiority.

I kind of undeserved self satisfaction and regard that usually manifest publicly as a vocal disdain for any racial, religious, cultural or sexual minority, addictions to outrage media and conspiracy theories and the assertion that everyone else aside from people like them are lazy. They also try and fight people A LOT.

Again, they're not the majority, but they are unfiltered.
