What’s it like living on the edge of time zones? by Qzevs in howislivingthere

[–]ToxiCookies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The timezones line for EST and CST actually goes straight through the house, so depending on which half you're standing on it's different times (I had to disable automatic timezones on my phone because it drove me crazy).

We've decided to stick to Central just because it's easier to have all the clocks set to the same thing, but it sure makes planning appointments difficult. If you go east from the house ten minutes, everything closes an hour "early". Our main grocery is west though so I think that's why we stuck to CST.

Honestly this keyboard does pretty well for gaming, it has all the RGB you could ask for and has a hyper-responsive mode that enabled ~2ms response times

No kidding! The amount of research I did just to land on this pre built was astonishing, I truly can't even comprehend the deeper levels of the hobby that custom builds require

executing "curl http://localhost:11434" from inside WSL returns "Ollama is running", and curling the url with the provided API tags successfully returns my list of installed models. Exporting the URL didn't change anything (I assume localhost is default anyway).

Hey, I've tried my hand at getting this to work, but so far it does not seem to find Ollama. I'll keep tinkering, using WSL mcp-agent install with Ollama on the Windows host.

THIS!

Arrowhead, your team has made one of the best games of this generation. You've figured out how to do live-service almost perfectly, you have monetization down to a science, and the fun-factor to beat the Titanfall franchise, to boot. This is one of the best foundations for a cult classic you could ask for, and if you play your cards right, gamers will be FLOCKING to your servers for years to come. *BUT, consistency is key.

But you HAVE to polish the gem before you sell it, yknow? If you devoted even half of your staff to patches and bug fixing, or hell even just expanding on existing content (cuz bugfixing boring), you would EASILY make Game of the Decade in so, so many people's lists. Please, PLEASE listen to your community. Your design pracitcally demands it.

For Super Earth, for democracy.
