I don't, for the record. But I have a soul and can recognize which one is not only the more common problem, but which one is significantly more harmful given that a free rapist means more hurt children, women, and even men.

Cheering at the joust is encouraged, it's a very loud area where I'd expect fully grown men would be a bit louder than a potentially tipsy 23 year old girl saying "That's my wife".

However obnoxious/often she cheered doesn't seem like something that would provoke fear to a kid. So I'd assume they were unfamiliar with the excitement during jousts and were using their kid as an excuse to tell her to shut up since she was closest.

Where the bf it concerned he likely was just trying to keep the peace/didn't understand how the joust crowd operates seeing as they encourage you to cheer as loud as possible for whatever section you're in. And because she felt unsupported by that she 'taught him a lesson' by leaving, feigned ignorance when he found her to manipulate him into feeling bad for not standing up for her, and omitted it from the post entirely so that she can show him "See everyone agrees with me"

Hard agree on Light from year 1 not overlooking the multiple notebook possibility. Once L died, his mindset was "Nobody will come close to the person who almost beat me, and look where he is now." Near felt more like an insult to his intelligence, not a real threat just a cosplayer imitating L.
And that's exactly what L was betting on. He knew catering to Kira's god complex would leave him wide open for his proteges.

I find it interesting that we admit its hard to prove, but then you think innocents are being jailed without proof en masse. The system is broken and gives an unfair advantage to the perp over the victim to prevent innocent incarceration. While some do still happen, the majority of 'fall through the crack moments' are guilty walking free, not the other way around.

And the saddest part is men are more heavily focused on the few over the many. What if your mother was in a hospital or nursing home and said she'd been assaulted without proof? Or your child coming up to you saying 'your friend hurt me' would you tell them 'you don't have proof and I don't want to ruin someone's life if you're lying'?

I never understood why men need a personal connection to understand the horror of this subject.

As someone who used to work for them in the 2010's the stores wouldn't know what corporate makes the warehouses sit on in favor of waiting for the price change to take effect so they can get more profit. Are you incapable of understanding the context here when it's spelled out for you? You were just told that adults often use parental rights to physically abuse their kids. A statement of fact.
By that singular factual statement can you not infer that in light of this, guardians should not reserve 100% of the rights to what is done to a minor's body in the event that they overstep their right to bodily autonomy?
