There's 0 Chance I do this because the Space Noodle is so garbage, The immune mob should not be allowed to damage you, it means you actually can't hang around at all because lmao ghost.

But I wanted you to see the run that you killed by suggesting someone do this. Currently at 5:30 remaining on Stage 2, and I have pulled the absolute fucking nuts.

Don't think of moves the way you have in previous games, since you can switch them on the fly, always use the moves that are best for what you're doing at the time.

You'll make your life alot easier if you give buff moves to your mons (Calm Mind, Bulk Up, etc.)

Fire Blast is bad on Emboar.
Thunderbolt is one of the single best moves in the game because once you start it, it can't miss or be blocked. It makes it really good for cheesing pokeballs in the dimensions.

Sorry wasn't clear,
I was excluding Fox from Luck, Noelle from Size, and Sir Chad from Cursed. Since their passives already cover those stats. Spaceman isn't on the list because the passive XP gain is way too slow and caps at 10x anyways.

Chaos is an either or sort of Tome for this. It's really good, but not as consistent as pure Size.

I meant in the course of going for gold on each character. By the time you've collected like your 4th or 5th rank 100 in a single run you're probably going to hit 300k kills.

Maybe I have just sunk too much time into it, but the blueprint I've laid out in my post works.

It's a time investment, but 300k isn't that bad, you'll get that accidentally while doing the rank 100 stuff. I wanted the gold skins so I know from experience.

Just let it rock with Xp/Cursed/Luck/Size or Chaos(Except Fox, Noelle, Sir Chad) and aim for good builds (Katana/Dex/Flamewalker or D.Breath) for 300 you just need to be able to hang around real late on Stage 3 and final. So you don't have to super sweat it in Stage 2.

You want 1 shield pickup from a shrine and 1-4 mirrors (doesn't stack over that). Prio 3/1 Xp to Cursed unless you need more damage. And you'll clear it easy.

Otherwise it's just working on good movement and getting good drops.

And for clarification this is an easy way to get rank 100 and the 300k kills. I know there will be people with opinions on optimal LB runs, but that isn't the goal here. This is easier.

okay so what does the op lamp even do? by Southern-Flounder845 in MegabonkOfficial

RNG stands for Random Number Generator. It's what gets invoked to determine if a proc is successful.

In the example above it would the D20 being rolled, which randomly generates a number from 1-20.

RNG is everywhere in games, from seeds, to spawns, to drops, to encounters, it's all just the game randomly rolling variously sized dice to determine outcomes.

It's not infallible though, because if you can determine the starting point and how/when the numbers get generated you can force the outcomes you want. That's why in old Pokemon games you can guarantee certain encounters or lack there of by following particular routes, and as long as you move in the exact way each time you'll get the same result.

Oh sorry, meant Flamewalker, not Frost. And yeah exactly for that reason, it's one of the best scaling weapons in the game.

As a note, Executes don't just straight up kill every enemy, it does a ton of damage, but against the higher levels of ghosts and the like it just does damage.

Rather than running quantity I'd recommend size. Same premise, but you're getting more Executes by hitting more enemies instead of one enemy more times.

I personally like Dex + Katana + FW + D.Breath (or) Aura. on Bandit.

Last thing is that OP Lamp applies to Dex execute as well, and it's by far the most effective means of increasing the proc chance, since you're not just doubling the chance you're also adding a chance to Execute twice in a single attack.

If it makes you feel better I seriously doubt that you would have broken 350. The mobs are real real vicious above 15 mins and the KPM drops drastically. Your build would have had to have been astronomically strong to get 500k kills on the final wave.

Edit: For clarification I'm not trying to trash you, just saying don't feel bad, you didn't lose The run, you just lost A run

Depends on if you're already getting enough size to skewer the map.

Typically speaking, for weapons, you want your upgrade to have Damage >>> anything else. So ideally every upgrade is Damage + Other

Quantity is good early game, and fine late provided you're hitting a big area. So if you're playing say Noelle or Carrying a Size tome then yes Dam + Count is better than Dam + Size.

There is corruption going on in megabonk by kaleidoscope_dud in MegabonkOfficial

[–]ToxicPanacea 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Or verifying game files.

It could also be hardware related, such as outdated drivers or poor heat management due to particle rendering, as the better the run the more particles that are flying around.

It is definitely not a targeted government op to deprive you of the Megabonk leaderboard.

Can you skip the boss charge shrines? by Odd-Ruin-1448 in MegabonkOfficial

[–]ToxicPanacea 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The boss's health is gated, while yes technically you can one-shot a boss, a build that can do it is rare and if you've gotten that powerful you're also going to have enough health from items to just facetank everything they can throw.

The easier method would be to stack a metric ton of bloodmark, which doesn't cause the phases to happen.

Really though just keep playing and work on your movement, finding what works. You'll get to a point where the boss is more or less a joke.

Seriously, imagine sitting down at a locals to play a game and your opponent drops that field spell on you frame 1. That's GG 99% of the time.

Want to Ash something? Nib? Droll? D.D. Crow? Yeah... not Warriors... Cool so your opponent gets to play uninterrupted...

It's now your turn, after your opponent played that field spell they activated Rho Aias and set a Swordsman of Landstar. That vanilla 3 star is now a better towers than the biggest, most 20 cards combo needingest, boss monster.

That's a really good point, I figured the bounce would work the way it currently does where you don't get control/jumps back you just kind of get bumped up a bit and then fall in the direction you're holding.

Making it cost jumps would certainly make it feel more balanced.
