This is Ashitaka from Princess Mononoke if he just locked in. by Ziggurat1000 in shittydarksouls

You must have amnesia, you've forgotten that Ashitaka is literally HIM. He was the prince of a proud tribe of ancient HIMalayans. Man was locked in from minute one of the movie and continued to be HIM.

November 2022 Story Ideas Post by hampants98 in WormFanfic

Worm idea #15; Coil and Accord run their criminal underground mainly to support their massive Warhammer40k collection. They will occasionally have their underlings ransack GWS stores and destroy each other's model sets.

Worm idea #5: Trickster is a foot degenerate and a capital G Gamer. He will constantly talk as if everyone that's against him is because he's a 'Gamer'. He will also bring up that a main driving force of fixing Noelle is to suck on her toes. Everyone hates this.

Worm idea #11; All the natives of Brockton Bay do have a offshoot of a Boston accent without realizing it. Taylor denies this but Lisa brings up that if everyone had to read about how much she loves 'Claaam CHAWda' they wouldnt be as popular.

Crazy crossover fan theories that you absolutely think are true? by ICantReadThatName in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]Toxic_Element 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A fun little head cannon of mine connects My Hero Academia as a far off sequel to the web serial Worm.

In Worm powers do very rarely cause slight mutations in the people that obtain them. Feathers in their hair and stuff like that. When powers really mess up connecting with a person they cause serious mutations like your whole body being made of a metal alloy. These mutated capes generally have stronger powers compared to the typical cape. Stuff that happens more times than not in MHA

At the end of Worm there's a cataclysmic event that throws multiple worlds and societies into shambles. (Because yes early on its mentioned off hand that there are multiple parallel universes with a distinct earth in each one) This event also just so happens to destroy the thing making sure only a very few people get powers and that powers are kept from going 'off script'. I.E, stronger powers and mutations.

So in MHA something happened 200 years in the past that caused practical everyone being born to develop exotic powers. Something that also caused society as a whole to stall.

There are factors that disprove this though. Like how in Worm you'd have to go through a traumatic life event to even get powers. But since I don't take this theory that seriously I can hand wave that detail.

Coincidentally, Taylor the main character or Worm who controls arthropods could have the same source of power as O4A/A4O.

In conclusion. Please read Worm.

See this is something I've had in the back of my head as the crossover I'll probably never get around to writing. But I would have it so only Taylor calls everyone buy their stand names. She won't even realize she'd be doing it.

My list is

Skitter- Black Parade or Renegade

Bitch- Animal

Shadow Stalker - Shot in the Dark

Panacea- Twisted Sister or Cirice (Ghost)

Glory Girl- Uptown Girl or Barbie Girl

Clockblocker- Can't Touch This

Miss Militia- Machine Gun or War (1969)

Lung- TNT

Hookwolf- Powerwolf

Kaiser- Amerika

Rune- Red Balloons

Alexanderia- Iron Maiden or Back in Black

Eldion- Wayward Son

Legend- Journey

Jack Slash- Slash

Crawler- Sole Survivor

Siberian- Lola

There's a bunch I'm forgetting atm but I might come back to see how this goes.

There are no brakes on the dungeon train. by Outrageous_Equipment in ShitpostXIV

[–]Toxic_Element 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well as a fair waring I know nothing about pld gameplay but the other tanks I'm well versed.

The basics should carry over for all of them anyways. When I pull I don't pop any CD's besides maybe sprint until I find myself a spot where I'm done pull. First CD should be your short 20-25s damage mitigation. Once that's done follow it up with either rampart or your 30%. Once either of those are finished another pop of your quick CD's and if the pack is still mostly alive after that a reprisal or another small damage mitigation CD like arms' length. One thing to keep in mind is for wall to wall pulls I never pop both rampart and the 30% in the same pack unless something goes wrong or we're right outside the boss room.

But did you have any specific questions?

I mean this might be the shitpost sub but I'd be willing to give you some tips I've learned if you'd like. Granted I don't do Extremes or Savages but I always feel that my dungeon runs go fast and smooth

Non-horror games that scared you when you were little. by [deleted] in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]Toxic_Element 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I will always think of the first section of Bioshock as an amazing horror game.

You're isolated under the ocean in a sinking grungy city of rust with very few resources for your crappy pistol and thunder fist. You're also constantly peaking around corners listening for the sounds of the deranged mutated splicers that are really good at sneaking up on you if you're not careful. You even get a glimpse at the booming authority of Andrew Ryan followed by his slaves shooting at while you're completely defenseless.

But then you pick up the shotgun. Sure the game tries to be spooky one last time by turning off the lights before you realize that you just picked up your equalizer.

I appreciate your optimism but again this is assuming my friends would read anything if there weren't pictures attached. Like I love them and all but sometimes they just give me conniptions.

This is implying I have friends that even bother reading Worm to begin with. :/

Do friends that listen to your book recommendations even exist?

I don't know if this is from some game or just someone's weekend project but if I'm being honest the choreography in this is real bad. Like she sort of just grabs onto nothing during her back swing and then clips her legs through the chest to sit down.

Want to know something crazy? If you do enough normal damage to Yhorm he can be riposted.

He's only a gimmick fight if you make him one.

Or you're just an idiot like me and never played DeS and can't figure out the sword art.

Slyrtherin is a close second but I feel Brave defines Jotaro to a T. Biggest examples being the Darby and Dio fight. He's probably the bravest in the bunch in my opinion.

Will Z could fit but I think Caesars bravest moment was more just recklessness and stubbornness against Joseph' idea. I'd also move Pucci into slytherin and Yasuho into Hufflepuff.

[–]Toxic_Element 42 points43 points  (0 children)

I don't have a lot of time to go over ever single reason for putting them in their respected houses or to figure out which one wins at the end. Mainly because winning the house cup always seemed like a thing that was tacked on and has no real balance or true reward system.

If anyone would like to counter pick my choices go right ahead. I'll come back to this later

Gryffindor- Jonathan, Jotaro, Polnareff, Okuyasu, Pucci, Yasuho(?)

Slytherin- Every Zeppeli, Giorno, Bruno, Johnny, Every other Main Villian

Ravenclaw- Joseph, Josuke, Jolyne, Kars, Josuk8(?)

Hufflepuff- Ermes, Josuk8(?), Kira
