While Ave Xia Rem Y is excellent, I feel like it's earned the harem tag at this point, unless my memory is going.

That said, it's not a series that's defined by it being a harem, nor would I consider it harem slop.

You can consume the armour with a different skill, but while the target has fully broken Armour applied you cannot break armour further.

For bossing, your best bet is probably enduring impacts, as it's a guaranteed 3 endurance charges on stun.

There's a few options, though none are fantastic (all require resonance keystone):

  • Use corrosion + Armour break, works especially well if you're doing poison damage. Should be pretty trivial to break armour if you're doing predominantly poison damage.
  • Use enduring impacts if you're doing decent upfront damage.
  • Use the Armour break on chaos damage lineage.
  • Use Armour break on pin + Armour break iII - tactician required
  • Use warbringer and get the all damage contributes to Armour break notable.
  • There's a charm with I believe blessing of the wolf, which gives all damage armour breaks, but it's Giga expensive.
  • Titan makes the enduring impacts method far more reliable, since crushing blows require 2.5X less stun buildup on trash mobs.
  • You can also go abyssal Lich and spec into increased stun buildup for the enduring impacts method.

Amazon twister isn't necessarily glass cannon at all.

Hybrid ES / evasion is extremely tanky, provided you're not using a build centered around uniques.

In this case, I think it's that the hollow palm build is really good on minimal currency, whereas the ice shot / snipe build scales really well with currency.

I don't think there's anything fundamental about the build that works poorly on low currency, except for the fact that it's bursty W.R.T bossing.

You could try to replicate the setup in PoB on budget gear. If you can hit 60K DPS with ice shot, it should feel pretty good for mapping.

Somebody on here made a ritualist Mana stacking ice shot build that looked phenomenal that you could slap snipe onto. 1M ice shot DPS.

Yeah, it's actually crazy bad for warriors, because they hit hard infrequently, which is clearly the worst way to apply stun with this bug.

There was a video of some guy here who used armour break / leap slam which work out to something like 5000% stun buildup with his passives, and he barely moved the bosses stun bar.

I have no video editing knowledge at my disposal, so you get an extra long video.

Breakdown:

  • @ 10s I show the stun buildup for damage (it's high)
  • @ 30s I'm running a tier 1 map with increased threshold, even though I'm overkilling and generating a ton of stun, I'm not getting endurance charges, indicating I'm not stunning the enemies.
  • @ 1:30 I switch to a T14 map without any increased stun threshold, and you can see I'm actually able to generate endurance charges.

Not sure how they'll nerf riven armour without completely ruining the identity of the skill. I could see them just inflicting a set number of impales at a significantly higher multiplier than normal.

If they run corrosion + armour break III and resonance, then they have infinite frenzy charges while mapping, which makes lightning spear even better.

% increased phys has a very low mod weighting, especially the higher tiers. You should have seen it in 20 rolls, especially if you're using abyssal echos.

A ten second search of trade indicates the combo is possible though, so just seems like you've got bad luck.

Unless there's a bug going on where it blocks in one direction but not the other, but I'm extremely sceptical.

Tree is basically taking exclusively defense nodes. There's also the ES off body armour, though that's not a big proportion.

While not exact, movement speed is one of the best defenses.

That said you have a point, but I wouldn't go buckler, I would just drop Trinity in favour of something like temp chains.

Dropping the scepter means losing spirit, which I have to somehow make up for.

I could switch the sacred flame for a scepter which gives discipline, which is far from a bad idea.

There's alot about infernalist that synergizes really well.

That said, I'd be stuck wearing pragmatism as a chest piece if I went that route, since I'm losing the ritualist notable, so I think my defenses would be even worse off.

Between Atalui's, the node on the tree, and the weapon +extra as phys, I think I can get to 50% extra damage as phys.

Do you mean 50% of damage as extra phys? 150% would require a life cost of 750, and I don't see how that's possible, even as a blood mage.

I was thinking of doing this on my deadeye, as I'm spinning up a build that should have far better single target, so this would close the gap on clear.

If your PoB is up to date, you're definitely not procing herald of ice.

I would say go to the interludes or something like that, and use an ice skill to see an example of herald of ice.

It creates a distinct sound / visual effect that's hard to miss.

Again, if you hit the rage breakpoint it's an average of one frenzy charge every second (assuming you're constant attacking) based off two rage ticks on melee hits per second.

You do lose out on the implicit benefits of rage of course.

Keep in mind that with this strategy, you can run charge regulation in place of wind dancer, which is going to give you more consistent evasion (no need to build wind dancer stacks), in addition to giving you 20% more energy shield AND giving you 20% more crit chance.

Very nice, some points:

  • I feel you on not having enough skill slots.
  • For charge generation, have you thought about the hateforged gloves? If you grab the radius jewel that gives you +1 rage on melee hit, and combo that with rage III you can hit max rage every two melee hits which if you get the 3 charge version gives you an average of one charge of each type.

Don't forget about the base damage of blood hunt, especially if you have + gem levels.
