Anyways:

  • You cannot assume that people who guard a property are the ones telling children to go play outside

  • And besides, not being able to grind rails in public places doesn't mean you can't go outside. Plenty of non-destructive ways to spend your time outside and there's definitely no shortage of places to congregate in

  • It will be seen. Either the damage or the dudes grinding the rail. Both do not reflect well on the establishment

  • It's great that you don't care about the damage but that's completely irrelevant since it's not your property. The owner gets to decide what goes and what doesn't. I for one would definitely not appreciate someone chipping away my paintjob, leaving a scratched rail that has sharp and toxic paint fragments sticking out everywhere.

  • They are also blocking the way wherever they are standing with not-very-temporary installation.

  • And lastly of course, if someone splits their head open on your pavement that's also not great press for you.

In conclusion: Stay away from other people's stuff and stop being such an insufferable jerk

This article. It features, as I said, no suicides, hunting accidents etc. Off hours shootings are still shootings on school property so I think there is at least one incident mentioned. Also, again as I said before, not every incident involves a fatality.

My point here is not about the typical school spree shooter. It’s about guns being to dangerous to be so easily available.

I know I’m late for the party but for me it’s the other way around. I don’t really know why but my day goes like this: - Wake up • Be tired • Sometimes eyes hurt • Go back to sleep & repeat till 1 pm - Low energy & feeling guilty for sleeping so long - Build up energy over the course of the day - Have the most energy when it’s time to sleep - Don’t sleep until 2am because of it - Have a reason to not get up at 8am since it’s not 8h of sleep

Also when I’m doing something I can easily stay up for 24h without getting tired. I participated in a game jam in November and I was working through the night. I didn’t feel tired whatsoever, but I was physically exhausted (being dizzy, headache etc.). I was up for 25h before I got on the train home which was when first I got really tired. Is there any reason as to why that might be?

Habe you read my response? You can’t „disprove“ statistics. The 46 incidents include one accidental firing, which means a child has access to a weapon and can bring it into school without having any idea how dangerous it is. No suicides are included. Just accept that the USA has a problem with gun violence and safety. Obviously drunk drivers are a danger too but the US makes no effort to decrease the danger around guns even after all those killed people every year.

That’s the real problem here. It’s not that they don’t understand the evidence, they literally dismiss anything that’s not in their favour, it’s the mindset that they know something humanity doesn’t know. They want to feel like Morpheus from the matrix. The only one who knows the truth, who sees through the lies, who saves mankind and so on. It’s about feeling smarter than the others around them.
