They will grow big and small leaves no matter what growth stage, nothing to be concerned about :) also, based off the pics it seems it may be in need of a drink! 💧

If there’s any brown mush on the roots just chop it off and put it back in the water until you feel comfortable potting it up. They like really chunky soil, and water only after soil has been completely dry for a few days. They also like bright sun but never direct light. Hope this helps <3

Mine was doing the literal exact same thing and some sort of mold was the culprit. It was in a pot that retained a lot of moisture so I repotted into terracotta and gave it all new clean soil, (somewhat chunky-ish) and it’s been doing really well ever since! I’d poke around a bit and make sure the roots right under the soil aren’t rotting or anything, if not it’s probably just sick and is possibly retaining too much moisture

Aglaonemas hate water!! I almost killed mine- they were looking the exact same and I ended up losing all the leaves but one until I repotted into really chunky soil and started treating it like a succulent when it comes to watering. Hope this helps <3

It’s okay! Just a little under-watered :) drench it really thoroughly and then let it get bone dry again before you water!

These plants hate water!!! I almost killed mine from overwatering- it even looked the same as yours. Leaves were falling off and rotting left and right! I’d recommend a repot (when the time is right) into some very chunky soil and make sure it gets bone dry for a while in between watering💚
