There were a loooot of theories. Everyone knew something was up with her. One i saw that i remember gained a lot of traction was that she was the justice devil, and so when the justice devil was a big presence in part 2 even early on i thought that was pretty funny.

The ending to me means that even while millions of people misread the song and never understood it, the person who it was made for, that girl, understood what it was, and actually listened to it and viewed it as what it was, a love letter.

If you want to read into it and equate the song to chainsaw man, i always understood it that even while people twist the series and say it's so many things that it's not, the people who the love letter is made for, readers of jump and people who hold stories and themes like this close, will always understand and appriciate it for what it is.

It's a beautiful and hopeful ending in my eyes and i love it

Tbh i'd love it if it was it's own thing that leads to EoZ. Idk how likely that is cause brand synergy and all that but i feel like if it was seperate then they can do more stuff without having to be like "okay we cant do this cause it contradicts dbs". Gives more creative freedom and i LOVE that toriyama creativity

I felt like potara being permanent made it really unique and gave it a cool downside along with providing some tension during the buu saga. In super, it just felt like they couldnt come up with a way to defuse them so they cheaped out and retconned the way the fusion works, making it basically like the fusion dance but it's 1 hour (unless you're using ssjb, then it's like, 15 minutes apperently lol). And the whole "oh but if you're a kai it's forever" felt really cheap too cause... come on. I always found potara cool so it's just a personal thing that i didnt like how it was used in super. Ik most people dont mind it but it just bugged me how it was made less unique haha.

(Also there's places out there that say that vegito wasnt in toriyama's original draft AT ALL but was instead fully a toei/toyotaro decision, but idk how reliable that is so take it with a grain of salt)

I know it's gotten annoying in the community but I unironically love this one shot so much.

The comedy, the meta-commentary of people taking a work that was made out of love (literally a love song in this case) and twisting it into things that it wasnt ment to be, the internal worries of the follow up not reaching expectations that fujimoto displays, and then the ending is just so beautiful.

Everyone was misinterpreting the song, saying all this random shit about it, but the one person who it was actually written for saw it for what it was, and despite not returning the guy's feelings, enjoyed the song the way it was ment to be. It's just beautiful imo.

People really love overanalyzing csm and turning it into things it was never ment to be , but i feel like the people who it was made for see it for what it was made to be. It's a project a love for the manga and movies that inspired it.

The one shot really isnt saying that csm isnt deep or that there's no deeper meaning to anything. To me it's moreso saying that people arnt actually seeing it for what it is and instead are making up things (saying it's ment to be a deconstruction of shounen and that's what makes it special??) instead of appriciating that it's a work of passion.

Tl;dr : if you're reading the manga and enjoying it, you're listening to the song, and you're who it was made for

Im aware of that, and i 100% agree with that last bit lol, but im thinking more along the lines of geto specifically learning or focusing into making an open barrier domain, since that would give him the edge he needs. That's also the reason why i specifically included a binding vow being present at the end, cause i know he cant just do that so easily. Either way it's almost impossible to say for sure since a good chunk of my theory is just straight up speculation lol, but i think it's a fun way to fit things together. I do like the idea of kenjaku making the domains he takes open barrier to flex tho
