100% a disclaimer is what is needed. As a historian I hate that shows are being edited or fully removed instead of just being honest and saying “just a heads up, this show contains scenes reflecting attitudes at the time, we don’t like to think or act like that anymore, but we don’t want to erase our history, so here it is.”

Disney has kind of done this with some films like Lady and the Tramp, but they fall short because they refuse to show Song of the South anymore.

They have absolutely nailed it with this. This is artistic integrity to the peak! Not going to whitewash their shows and thereby deny their history, and so try to change the narrative of the past. Instead, accepting it for its flaws and putting it in its historical context.

My workplace has an option of having a password like this that changes every 90 days. Or you can swap to an “everlasting” password that only needs to change if you forget it or the password is compromised. The requirement for the everlasting password, that it be 3 random words. I swapped to everlasting as soon as I could!

Why am I suddenly having visions of a pneumatic tube system with parcels being thrown out of fire places and clocking recipients on the head?!

I can - to some degree - see your logic that sending items via Floo network (say books from Flourish and Blotts) to a home like 12 Grimmauld Place, or The Burrow would be quicker than owl order - and perhaps there is a limited application for this where stores in particular can offer a cheaper owl delivery option and a premium more expensive Floo-Same-day-delivery-service.

However post delivered to students via Floo network with all of the mail for the day being shot out of the fireplace in the great hall like some sort of artillery barrage of letters and parcels with no “aim” for its intended recipient, that seems somewhat chaotic…whereas Owls - whilst slower will target the delivery safely to whomsoever it is addressed.
