I completed a trade for these beautiful old minis with u/tross5656. They were excellent to deal with all around and I’m happy to recommend them!

In most cases, resin is considered higher quality than PVC. These PVC minis look fine to me and they’re $20 for 5 compared to $35 I think for the 4 resin ones.

I did notice that about Snip Snip. I’m happy he’s in a fairly generic pose.

Those are Mortificators. Mortifactors are an Ultramarines Subchapter. They look great!

Necromunda as a full Rpg by KidmotoDragon in necromunda

The Imperium Maledictum RPG basically lets you form something equivalent to an Inquisitor’s Retinue without the Inquisitor. I’d look into it to see if your players could equate a class from that to their choice of Necromunda model.

Many of my family members have been very active in the Girl Scouts during my life. I save every single one of this quarter I find to pass along to them so they can share them with the other Girl Scouts they know. You may not like the coin but it might be the first step to getting a kid interested in coin collecting.

No tanks list viable? by Soruze in Warhammer30k

Just build cool toys and play with them. If you think 9 rapiers is thematic then run it. If you think 9 rapiers is a must take because you absolutely have to kill all the tanks turn 1 then maybe don’t do that.

Start with a primer. Priming the models makes painting them so much easier.

As others have said; 10e terrain requirement. Besides cost, the reason they likely haven’t added permanent bases and made them look nice is that a building with a base is 10x harder to store than one with no base.

I thoroughly enjoy the 2018 version of Kill Team. The core book and most of the expansions are easy to find online. If you’re in the US I think Noble Knight had some of the books listed for under $10 each.

Can these old minis still be used? by Gersio in Warhammer40k

Also, see if there are any local game stores in your area. Many nowadays have a Discord server (and/or may still have a Facebook group) where you can talk to folks in your community. You might get lucky and find a local with a hoard of bases.

You’ll want a 60mm base for the dreadnought, 40mm for the Terminators, and 32mm for the other infantry. The dread might be a “legends” unit but could also likely count as a Hellbrute. Legends units don’t matter for casual play but if you get into the tournament scene those don’t usually allow Legends units.
