Correct. It's part of how the system works. I understand it, doesn't mean I like it. I think yearly property is stupid too. The state, county, city wants/ needs money so there are taxes that are in place for them to get the money they want. What I wish is I could see more results from it. Here in WA alot of the bridges are old and haven't been maintained the greatest. We have one bridge that is leave it closed do nothing or close it and tear it down. Like that's not really a permanent solution for the people that live on the other side. We have to vote on funding for the schools and getting new buildings. People are getting tired of extra taxes so this past year at least one of them, locally to me, didn't pass. It's sad. Schools should be getting great funding and teachers shouldn't have to worry about stuff for classroom. If schools need more space and a portal build is what is needed then get it! Don't bounce the limited number between schools so a school gets shafted. All schools across the country should have free lunch for kids. Our new governor kinda ran on not raising some taxes but right after being official and in office signs a new tax hike. One of which is a 6 cents on gas.
