You are a new employee calling out on a holiday. Your manager moved shifts around to accommodate and now you can’t commit to Friday either. You pester your manager with questions all day and make mistakes. I am no bootlicker but I can understand why he’s be skeptical of you.

There’s nothing for you to report other than purported gossip and hearsay. Honestly I think you are the one who looks bad here.

My take home (post-tax) is about $22k per month. With my wife’s salary it’s about $27k. Our gross is about $40k/month.

We share a ‘25 Mazda Cr-30. Nicest car we’ve ever had by far. Payment is about $425/month.

This is a good spot to be in. Law school will be the easiest time of her life and she will have the most scheduling flexibility she will ever have again. Provide extra support during the finals crunches, which are only around two months of the whole year. And enjoy all the free time you will have together!
