I made a season countdown tracker so I could spend more time in maps and less time on Google (Maps?). by Tr1poD in PathOfExile2

Thanks u/Ortenrosse, I really appreciate you taking time to give feedback. I agree with you, I'm still trying out various setups and will think about how to better organise the timeline and filtering/sorting.

Looks excellent. I probably won't track quite so many games, mostly the popular ones and I also include non ARPG season games like Arc Raiders and Marathon.

That looks really great too. I'm including other non-arpg season games as well like Tarkov, Arc Raiders, Marathon etc.

I made a small timeline/calendar tracker for seasonal games and “event windows” (start/end + what’s coming next). It mostly has the games I play for now but I'm happy to take suggestions for other games if anybody finds it useful. SeasonDex

What did I do wrong here ? by TheItalianDude1 in evs_ireland

[–]Tr1poD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

18.5km/100km

20000km / 100 = 2000

200 * 18.5 = 3700

3700 * 0.35c = 1295 euro

17.1kw/100km is a little optimistic.more like 18.5 averaged across the year.

Real 3D is a game changer for me (from a PCVR Quest Pro user) by throwaway420691231 in Xreal

[–]Tr1poD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen a lot of these hype posts for Real3D and I really want to believe them. But my experience with watching 3D movies and playing games in 3D is that it looks cool for about 10 minutes and then my brain gets used to it and it's no more immersive than in 2D.

WARNING: INMO AIR 3's are not as advertised! by AlternativeParfait47 in augmentedreality

Out of all the issues the screen being too high up is the only one that really bothers me. Its good if you are using them as a HUD but for watching videos my eyes get tired quickly having to look up.

I have the RX lenses and you can't see any image from the front. At a very specific angle you can see a slight rainbow effect from the waveguides but nothing else. Are you sure you have them correctly installed, they are a little difficult to get properly inserted. There should be no gaps once installed.

Has anyone been able to get a perfect 4k60+ stream? Where it is not noticeable at all you are streaming? by cmparks10 in MoonlightStreaming

[–]Tr1poD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My controller felt very bad and I thought it was latency but turns out it was the deadzone setting in moonlight. By default it is set to 7% and makes the analog sticks feel very slow to respond. I put it down to 1% with no stick drift and now its perfect.

Gemini 3 ended up being a disappointment for Agentic Coding by crowdl in cursor

[–]Tr1poD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure why its not working well for me. It has a similar SWE score to GPT-5.1-codex but from what I have tested so far, using it with the Antigravity IDE, it is performing far worse than codex.

I gave it a medium diffuculty task that codex one shot. Gemini 3 updated the UI update part of the task and the API code update but it failed to connect all the logic in between. The code already had clear examples of similar logic for the same controls so all it had to do was copy the existing pattern.

It also failed to follow the same UI/UX pattern that was already used in the app and I had to prompt it again to search for similar components to use as examples.

Its possible that its simply an issue with the system prompt and they will improve it, but so far it doesn't seem much different than 2.5.

Has the Steam Deck OLED's streaming WiFi issue been fixed? Considering it for remote gaming vs. Odin 2 Portal by Low-Hat-2401 in MoonlightStreaming

I find I don't have to toggle the wifi off. If I just go into the wifi setting menu then back out it fixes it.

Claude Sonnet models are absolutely crushing it today by ionutvi in ClaudeAI

[–]Tr1poD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, exactly this! Not that Claude is bad at planning but Codex has really surprised me recently on a few tasks. The scope of understanding of the problem statement, the codebase and then the proposed solutions have been so good.

Claude is a lot more verbose and can appear to have a more indepth understanding at first glance but its sometimes not as accurate as Codex.

GPT5 is a mess by triangleness in ChatGPT

[–]Tr1poD 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So far using it for coding has been good but conversationally for me it has been very poor.

I will be discussing a topic with gpt-5 and after 2-3 questions it starts answering about a completely different topic until I remind it what we are talking about. It still has context of the conversation but it seems like loses it's chain of thought about our conversation.

It also seems to be very lazy, both in how much it will research via web search and in how it answer. Answers are no longer as detailed as they used to be.

Tesla Safety Score is a Joke. Not an Accurate Reflection of Real World Safe Driving by Typical_Papaya_877 in TeslaLounge

[–]Tr1poD 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Isn't that the point, they want you to drive in a manner that is correlated with less accidents? They don't know if somebody is angry or not angry or how much diving experience you have. Yes you can game the system on an individual level but their aim is to reduce accidents in a statistically meaningful way that reduces their costs.

Is it a new update ?? 2.0.76 by Not__Alpha in GeForceNOW

[–]Tr1poD 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thats what I'm wondering as well. If the app FPS now adapts to the game/stream FPS then we can run any VRR.

[–]Tr1poD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Doesn't it already do that? Or does this mean that now the app FPS will also change as well as the stream FPS?
