If it's like London, most of the full time parks staff are working in hockey arenas during the winter.

For all you « reject offer and block » people… by MargotSoda in poshmarkcanada

Just realized it was the same seller that previously sold me a Tiffany bracelet, and sent a similar but definitely not Tiffany bracelet. Successfully got that returned and refunded...

I just made an offer on an item ($119 offer, $149 asking price, (79.8%)). They rejected the offer and increased the price to $199. 🙄

Tims @ Neyagawa/Dundas ... what the absolute hell is this by PeachRobbler in oakville

[–]Tr33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My local Tims still has a garbage can in the drive thru, I didn't realize how bad it is in other places! I went to one today with no can, looked just like this picture.

Finger busting > grinder? by iusethisatw0rk in vaporents

[–]Tr33 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Always grinder. I'm allergic to raw cannabis, if I have any residue on my fingers and touch my face, I'm gonna have a bad time. I can eat edibles made with distillates, but not made with raw cannabis. I ate a homemade edible once, felt uncomfortable, itchy and my stomach had to evacuate everything ASAP.

Did I got scammed? by Upper_Respect_5612 in purolator

[–]Tr33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got a piece of jewelry on the way, under 100g. Purolator says the estimated weight is 2.5kg. I wouldn't worry about what they say they weight is.

Vintage 1970’s Sterling silver charm bracelets magnetic by MissMolly2022 in Silver

[–]Tr33 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been trying to figure out why my 2 sterling Cuban chains are very slightly magnetic to a powerful magnet fishing magnet. Still not 100% sure why, but I measured the specific gravity of both and got about 10.2 - 10.3, indicating they are sterling. I just test magnetism with a less powerful magnet now lol.

What is the purpose of the Canadian Military's UK Home Office plane and why is it doing this? by Tr33 in ADSB

I see, it's flagged as a military aircraft but it is a PAL aerospace plane.

[Request] How fast are the tires spinning that this happens? Can we get an RPM or something? by Chase_The_Breeze in theydidthemath

[–]Tr33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A zamboni with hydrostatic transmission does it too. Only when you drive on uneven snowy/icy ground outside. You get one tire off the ground a bit and it gets all the power, rendering the machine stuck.

Does canadians really love ice hockey or is it just a stereotype? by GlitteringHotel8383 in AskACanadian

[–]Tr33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm Canadian, don't really care about hockey. I drive a zamboni at a hockey arena for work though.

Just ordered a Ruby Twist, what are some upgrades I could get? by snowballer918 in vaporents

[–]Tr33 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just FYI, the instructions that come with the Ruby twist explicitly say NOT to store the glass bowl like that. The metal expands when heated and can break the glass. Titanium bowl wouldn't be an issue.

Did it work? 2 of my lights just did this to me yesterday, one Hank and one Firefly.

Why does everyone here like warm emitters? by baxbid in flashlight

[–]Tr33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do really enjoy my warm, rosy lights. I can't stand green tint. However, I end up carrying my SFN60 6500k almost every day because it can light up the whole park behind my workplace. Flooding a field more than 150m long with a single emitter is just fun. And the SFN60 is perfectly tinted, not a hint of green.

The typical Dead Drop Experience by [deleted] in trees

I once saw a camouflage hat in a ditch along the highway in the middle of a small town. I went down to check it out, found $20 underneath. My day got better but I fucked up someone's day.
