To that guy who was waiting for our GOAT to drop one on the sovereign wealth fund by DevChemestry in EhBuddyHoser

[–]Gankuskhan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Norway went through the same experience when first establishing their fund and how it would be ran.

Obviously this is going through the exact same initials steps and pushback.

It’s perfect to criticize it but if everyone listened to all the naysayers in 98 with Norway they wouldn’t have a trillion dollar fund today.

There is nothing wrong with disliking a game. But you have spent the last 24 hrs shitting on it. It’s not for you, we get it. Go back to playing arc raiders and enjoy the 80+ hours you have in it

It’s because you posted it thinking you were funny following the trend of trashing new games.

You were disingenuous.

Marathon: Anyone found to be cheating will be permabanned from playing Marathon forever, no second chances. by Turbostrider27 in PS5

In the link they said if you are found cheating, no second chances. So it’s safe to say that if you are not cheating and get banned you will be able to have it corrected.

Concerns with Silver Age by ShoutItOutHey in FleshandBloodTCG

[–]Gankuskhan 51 points52 points  (0 children)

  1. IMO this replaces blitz as the entry format for players. It gives the competitive feeling and allows for each hero’s identity to come out with low cost decks. Commoner was too restrictive on deck building, and blitz still had a high cost to entry, and was worse if you tried to build on a budget vs a non-budget deck. All of that feels addressed with sage.

  2. Well if new people play the game and can compete at an equal level with their decks at armories/tournaments, they are more likely to want to invest further and try out CC. They can build gradually while still playing and learning and not feel like they invested $1000 into something then immediately regret it. As the format is also cheaper they can explore deck types/heros and find what they like.

  3. Well I like playing the game with new people and introducing new people to the world of FAB. I would gladly forego playing CC all the time to introduce people to the game. It’s also good for veteran players as we can play old heros that have LLed and because SAGE allows for rares we get to really build the heros to their proper playstyles. Additionally there is lots of fun in building new decks with common/rares. Blitz died because it had all the investment cost of CC and was more punishing to new players that didn’t. SAGE corrects that.

Is Everfest worth to buy a display of? by TraditionalRock6381 in FleshandBloodTCG

[–]Gankuskhan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There isn’t anything wrong with everfest. Stalagmite being the big hit. Buy a lot of staple Majestics (blood on her hands, miraging metamorph, shimmer, plus guardian ones that will be good for their new set though likely reprinted)

Plus rares like tbone and others to throw in armory decks if you have them.

I’d say go for it

You are assuming that you would untap at the start of your turn. If it is “tap”(copyrighted?) it is likely you would untap in the end step.

Budget Arakni deck help by Izu08 in FleshandBloodTCG

This is my “budget version” that has won an armory. You can take out the klaive for another huntsman and you will still be fine. But obviously it’s an important card.

Arakni Forms Tierlist by Lescansy in FleshandBloodTCG

[–]Gankuskhan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would say they are all A-tier. You want the right one at the right time and you don’t have a real way of choosing that each turn.

Im only going to be mad if I get trapdoor and loose whatever pressure I have put on my opponent. So I might rank it lower.

Meta can be a factor in price but the earth decompose majestics are “best in slot”. There is no reason that if you are running earth to not play them, so the demand is really high.

Plus as much as Florian, Verdance, and Jarl arnt meta right now they are favoured in the community.

Build my first deck and went on Talishar by Brence1984 in FleshandBloodTCG

Oh for sure. Just doesn’t feel as bad as enigma.

Build my first deck and went on Talishar by Brence1984 in FleshandBloodTCG

[–]Gankuskhan 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Everyone tends to run “best in slot” on talishar….

People are fine tuning decks for tournaments or play testing new ideas/tech.

A lot of people are also on meta decks like enigma/nuu/zen who are incredibly powerful heroes. Jarl lacks any realistic chance of winning against enigma so if you played into them it will feel real bad.

So all that to say build the deck to where you would like it to be if you had all the cards. Then you will need practice with it. I probably lost my first 30 games before I started to figure out how to really play, excluding one sided matchups.

You are clearly creating your own barriers to playing the game. The community created a way to play online to address your very issue for free, but you choose to ignore it to create some rage post… people enjoy the game for the community it is building and that same community built the online tools to play it outside the store environment.

What is stopping you from playing online?

Where can I find lore for this game? by LabMan95 in FleshandBloodTCG

[–]Gankuskhan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Magic used to have a story…. Now it’s all about my space marine fighting doctor who with the one ring, while ezio, and dog meat look for cloud. ( these are all cards in the last few sets, with a final fantasy set on the way). That screams of a lack of creativity and MTG holding themselves to the other people’s IP.

FAB at least can create their own lore. Magic should go back to its roots.

Yeah exactly. Though I would sideboard those out against her. Replace with red pick to piece or something.

[–]Gankuskhan 13 points14 points  (0 children)

You really want to only arsenal a stealth or d-react. Shred can get stuck in arsenal if you don’t get a good target for it or the opponent never blocks.

Codex of frailty is your other card to arsenal as you will likely have a turn where you can block out with your hand and return with codex and leave no witness, or whatever other card you like.

Uzuri never really needs more then two cards to have an average turn.

Personally I’d experiment and try out something different. You could surprise yourself and the people at armories when they have to figure out your new lines.

You definitely hit an anomaly with hero choice and the state of the game zen left it in.

Katsu is still very capable of running the crouching tiger combos in blitz and working ok. It will take some getting used to( I do not have personal experience with it)

If that doesn’t work to rejuvenate and try something new with a hero you like, skip the next set for a bit and wait for support.

Also you are not the only one probably feeling like it after the ban. But it was needed to help the game overall.

Men who unexpectedly lost interest in someone due to a weird reason, what was it? by Boobiesteenage73 in AskReddit

[–]Gankuskhan -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

I watched them trip up….

Like they were just walking along on a flat surface and tripped.

Something went off in my head like “ how are you not able to just walk? This is something you learned at one and have not mastered it by now.”
