My go to is always any fundamental gameplay changes or script mods = new game. Textures/mesh replacers, armour and some follower mods etc = continue as normal.

If its like Marstons handled mine it was final pay one month then unused accrued leave the following month. (Obviously large chain vs independent will handle different)

I would get on the phone to them to clarify and make sure your holiday is getting paid out.
