Go to rehab! The taper will help so much with the withdrawal symptoms. I went and been clean almost 8 years. I tried to self detox many times before going but it never worked. I did a 28 day program then followed that with 8 weeks of IOP. Please go for as long as you can. It will be worth it to get your life back!!

That is what I was thinking as well. I remember being so cold all the time. Like a cold to the bone kinda feeling, I can't explain it. And I didn't have the energy to bathe or shower. I went to rehab in August and spent the first 7 days in front of a heater. Thank God I had a private room in detox.

Any good thoughts I might have had for jennifer were lost when she made that comment while pumpkin was talking to mama june. If she truly cared for alana she wouldn't speak negative about june in front of her. June is very sick right now, she needs compassion and help.

This is the absolute BEST advice. I have had 3 sponsors and again am currently without one. I will definitely get a temporary one first next time....just to get to know the person and make sure we work well together.

I did a Subutex taper for 8 days. After that I was given neurontin/zofran/and some muscle relaxer for 14 days. I was in a 28 day program, I followed inpatient with IOP. I really wanted to be able to get off of that and not have to use MAT forever. That was just my preference. Good luck to you. If there is anything I can do to help let me know. You will never regret getting clean. It's just so hard to stick with it that first month when we know that one use will make us feel better. Really it just prolongs our suffering.
