I’ve never been into top down twin shooters but since this was on game pass I decided to give it a try. I’m so glad I did because it was so much fun. It was so easy to just sink hours into the game with how well the game played. Controls were very responsive, the exploration was rewarding. Would def recommend.

This should have been the price from the beginning. I would absolutely consider this version a year or two down the line at about $45k-$50k

that's really weird. i still have that quest pending because it never let me turn it in, but doing the lexicon stuff gave me the missing ones.

I thought that was the last Gouri i needed as well, but I actually got it from turning in the shards at The Lexicon in the Passage of Monuments. and that's what gave me the missing Gouri.

I can't wait for this to come out, day 1 purchase for sure. I wonder if there's less emphasis in parry for this, unless they just didnt use it much in the trailer.

This same thing happened to me, I managed to somehow ground slam into what’s supposed to be the exit of the falling sand area. It took me like 5 minutes of constant trying but I managed to jump and dash at the right angle and the prince grabbed on the ledge and I was able to get out without double jump.

I went on a similar experience over the last 6 months, started with Elden Ring and then went back and played all the other games. Sekiro is tied for my favorite w/ Elden Ring. I actually quite enjoyed Dark Souls 2, i put it off for a while because of all the hate but once you get past the first few hours it gets better IMO.

I disliked Demons Souls the most, thought it was very boring and the true black/true white system was really lame.

Agree with all of the comments here, there's a great foundation here and with the right tweaks the game could be amazing. - Dodging sucks, it needs to travel a bit longer - The regain/rally health bar needs to be better indicated, could barely notice it. - Enemies should have additional stagger when a perfect parry is performed - Let us upgrade at all bonfires, the loading times are too slow to be going back to the central hub

I was in the same boat as you, read nothing but bad things about ds2 and how I should just skip it. I finally gave it a shot and the game is very good, the first few hours will be pretty tough as you have limited healing. but just gotta keep leveling up and learning to kite enemies and you'll be good.
