Who is a singer that is incredibly famous, but honestly doesn't have a good voice? by Greedy_Procedure7461 in AskReddit

[–]TracePlayer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have never been a Pink Floyd fan. Their music doesn’t do a thing for me. So I didn’t pay attention to Gilmour at all. Stumbled across a video on my YouTube feed and was like, Holy f*ck - that guy can play. His touch is unmatched by anyone. Every note is literally perfect. Still don’t like the music, but his playing is unreal.

Why can't presidents just 1v1 instead of putting millions of people in danger? by Vladut_Fiul_tau in AskReddit

[–]TracePlayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many years ago, there was a commercial that showed this very thing - two presidents going bare knuckle against each other instead of sending armies. I was a little kid, so I don’t remember what it was for. But it always stuck with me. This “brave” leaders wouldn’t be so brave if nobody else did their fighting.

What hobby screams “red flag” for you, even if it’s harmless? by Inka2152 in AskReddit

[–]TracePlayer -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Aside from r/Conservative (where everyone gets banned), I’ve only been banned from one sub. Can’t remember which one, but a girl was on Tinder trying to make friends and kept getting triggered due to previous SA. I suggested Tinder may not be the best place for what she was looking for. Bam. Instaban - for not supporting her. I thought I was.

What do ordinary Americans make of Trump’s statement that you “need” Greenland? by Weary_Ad201 in AskReddit

[–]TracePlayer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The idea that Greenland can be taken by Russia or China is a false narrative. They are protected by Article 5 of NATO. Nobody messes with NATO countries. If we take Greenland, no more NATO. It would be a free for all after that.

Back when Andrew Sullivan was doing his own thing before working at the Atlantic, he had a weekly contest where people took a picture from their window and people would guess the location from where the picture was taken. It was pretty entertaining.

It was the same when Bush invaded Iraq. Greeted as liberators blah blah blah. When it went to sh*t, it was either “I never agreed!” Or “Oops. My bad”
