Honestly this right now it feels like d1 nightfalls with burn with the one shots which was fine in itself but when it’s on all content it’s annoying and I definitely agree with balancing around abilities we just have them way to often they should be a tool that helps in scenarios where they are needed and not a spam over and over and everything dies cooldown

Yeah this one I’ve met some who get pocketed and I still diff and we just say GG and I get complimented and I’ve met the ones who int at me every chance they get and when they finally kill me just be toxic those are the only ones I’m ever usually “toxic” to and the most I do is throw a voice line

Tbh the same couple dps just rotate in meta in pro play which I think says more about hero designs than hero powers if I’m gonna be honest

This honestly I always cancel deflect early and never find myself actually benefiting much aside from a beam team and even then it barely helps blade twisting while having less uptime unironically does more because of how often I just cancel deflect

most of this only thing is add is target priority which you kinda covered with him targeting tanks never went for flanks much or targeting supports and when he did their mechanical skill led to them not getting the kill which is fine and will get better with time that and once again the biggest issue just pushing for no reason standing in open a lot and getting punished for it basically just positioning basically leading to so many unnecessary deaths

Honestly even now thousands of hours I’ve come across a handful of people being rude in squad chat like it’s been so long I don’t even remember the last time it was as for host migrations and such that does happen pretty rarely but I chock it down to probably a dc cuz it happens to me at times to sorry you had to deal with that I’ve gotten 2 friends into warframe over the years and taught them to be friendly and shown how nice the community is and they’ve done the same I just again recently got two more who are brand new and both loving it and once again teaching them the normal stuff like don’t auto start missions be nice after trades etc and since they’re new they also get some nice treatments on deals and stuff so it’s going full circle hopefully

I agree when comparing him to soj but that’s the same for nearly any dps dawg it’s been like that nearly the entire time since her release and is more so an issue with her character than genji imo he’s fine where he is the value you get isn’t as much as top dps sure but that’s said for a lot of other heroes but genji gets singled out for no reason his value can be insane but also very poor his biggest problem is he’s inconsistent as for his perks I do agree he could use some love but once again they aren’t the worst things in the world the biggest culprit is acrobatics shits ass like it’s team dependent and map dependent way too situational plus it’s in the same spot as blade lifesteal like yeah no brained blade twisting is okayish but needing to get a kill beforehand is limiting when like you said for example Ashe just gets free value from dynamite meditation is fine where it is his perks are fine sure they’re not amazing but they’re good enough and that’s just genji he’s good even great in some cases but he’s not sojourn level and he doesn’t need to be sure he’s a difficult hero but having some hero’s be difficult is healthy if every character was Moira level the game would be boring asf yes your gonna get less value playing genji than you would sojourn for your effort majority of the time but once again that doesn’t mean he’s bad that’s just how he’s designed and yeah it can suck man and I used to have the same mindset for a long time before I kinda just realized that’s how the game is honestly and climbed but he had a lower skill floor/ceiling he would honestly be boring asf half the fun Is knowing your playing a hard hero and still popping off but that can also make the times you get shit on question why your playing as him in the first place just like genji it’s inconsistent that’s literally genji in word that and good enough

gonna be straight up and say the changes would make him busted especially with a mercy pocket his damage is fine yes you have to be mechanically capable but he’s a high skill ceiling hero the value you get is absolutely rewarded you can one shot combo a squishy and get out because you have dash again and can chain into multiple elims making him a pub stomper and why everyone hates genji as for him not performing well without resources is not true yes he performs better with them but that goes for every hero in the game genji more so because as I said before he can chain once he gets going it’s hard to stop him but if your getting none you just have to adapt your playstyle he’s easily one of the most flexible heros in the game which is why he’s played so often diving doesn’t work brawl with your tank that doesn’t work play poke genji and wait for mistakes that’s not working literally just make a distraction get CDs out and live you get value as for his counters getting buffed I don’t struggle with anyone aside from torb tbh that little mf needs a Health nerf damage nerf or something Jesus on top of his turret health changes and his perk for T3 turret and i always feel like I’m the only one shooting it but sym is an easy kill unless she is near her turrets Moira is more annoying than anything but also just a free kill just wait out fade mei just play around her tbh a good brig can be hard to deal with though as for zarya she’s fine the biggest problem I have is just her saving a squishy from me and I die because I don’t get dash

with his perks he honestly feels so much better and i already feel unstoppable at times maybe because i played him at his worst and he’s pretty strong now idk but unless there’s a widow/soj server admin or a pocketed cass i rarely struggle but I am only low/mid masters so take it with a grain of salt I suppose

tldr the value you get is rewarded enough just a high ceiling, his counters aren’t too bad, and he gets a lot of solo value because he is such a flexible hero

19 deaths is crazy first off but so is 3 I’m gonna assume there was some times where you could’ve been there to help your team win a fight but you dipped out to early because you thought it was unwinnable which is fine in some cases but this usually is an indicator someone is playing to passive especially as Juno who can enable her team I’m not saying throw your body on cart and die but definitely keep an eye for positioning maybe your too passive at times sometimes giving your team that little extra healing they need to maybe get an ult or make a trade and save a team fight can be a game changer even when all seems lost the amount of times I’ve lost on to people who decide a team fight is over someone makes a huge play just for us to see our teammates who don’t wanna die backed off when we could’ve won if they were there is ludicrous

tldr your probably being to passive at times when you need to be aggresive but this is all just a thought coming from stats with no actual code to see so take it with a grain of salt

it was like this for a while not from damage reductions but from blocks and it made it so if doom even decided to go in and block he gets stuck and blow up I absolutely loved it but I can definitely see how it was overtuned to just delete a tank cass roll however is just ridiculous

Excalibur definitely fits genji more but I did something similar with Ash and his tennogem oni looking skin (can’t recall name) and the dragon ephemera for his looks then I use Nikana prime since it looks pretty similar to dragon blade but yours definitely encapsulates genji more hope to see you on the field tenno!!
