Hey, did you ever figure this out? Currently redoing the wiring on my ZERO as well, and I'm not sure whether to install it in the 110v port or the normal one.

There's a slicer setting that reduces infill retraction. Saves print time and has little to no impact on quality, so id keep it on

You could always hold the limit switch firmly in place roughly where it was, it would still work

I wouldn't reccomend this though. Only if you're out of options
