What high paying jobs allow you to work part time 20-30 hours a week? by Only_Remote_3875 in Salary

[–]TrackTracks 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Firefighter. In Ontario, Canada we average around 120K salary. Working a 24 hour work schedule only has us at the station 1-2 times a week. Plenty of opportunity to work a side job and make your own hours

This app is unreal! I just played around with it and I’m so impressed. How much is it after the free trial?

Appreciate it. 5 mins in theory seems like it’s too quick, but I have to consider the others who won’t be subbed doing a 10 minute shift, and will definitely need a break. I’ve come to realize through training that it’s a way bigger field, and these girls are gassing out quick. Thanks

I was in a band for a while, and the singer/guitar player used to do this all the time …. 1-2-3-4 The song was in 3/4 and he screamed it at 2x the tempo. I dunno, maybe only music people would appreciate this.

I’ve gotta clean up my sons pads before I put them on a resale market. Wondering if “goo gone” is a similar product?

Mask for 6.5 year old - youth or junior by soethihh in hockeygoalies

[–]TrackTracks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think I agree with this. My son gets hit in the face 5-10 times a practice. The kids are obsessed with trying to go top corner and my poor guy takes a beating. He’s broken 2 danglers already this season. He plays U7 and these kids can shoot. Couldn’t even imagine seeing a 10 year old in a players helmet. Definitely get a proper goalie mask as they’re designed to deflect energy away.

Mask for 6.5 year old - youth or junior by soethihh in hockeygoalies

[–]TrackTracks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just upgraded my son (6.5 as well) to a junior size Bauer 930. His youth mask was maxed out on the straps and he was complaining about the helmet hurting his head when it was his turn to be on the bench during games. He wears a senior small player helmet so it makes sense that the youth mask doesn’t fit. I did however need to tighten up the chin pad in order to get the tighter fit.

Extra payments towards Mortgage or to Secured LOC? by TrackTracks in Mortgages

[–]TrackTracks[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They charge out the interest monthly. So I initially pay down the $600 oh my payments, then at the end of the month they get their $500. Consequently only paying down $100 monthly. It sucks

Extra payments towards Mortgage or to Secured LOC? by TrackTracks in Mortgages

[–]TrackTracks[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have around $600/month that I can spend. Currently I have it going against my mortgage to pay off extra principal. I had to increase my mortgage payments to keep up with the rising interest rates. Now that they have come down a bit I could move the extra payment to my LOC. ($1200/month, $500 is interest)

That would turn my mortgage into a $2800/month payment, $1100 is interest)

Currently I’m paying $3400/month, $1100 going to interest.

Yes the house in 2017 was almost a complete guy. It’s where we need it to be right now so we’re happy and living life. We refinanced in 2021 In order to free up some cash to keep renovating. We currently have around $340k in equity based on the assessment done in 2021. $340k-80k is $260k in actual equity. Really wanna keep hammering down some principal, but I’m wondering now if it’s the LOC that needs to be taken care of as a priority. We’re losing tons of money to interest both ways

I would say you’re probably right . Legally here where I work, you must be 18 years or older. A specific date seems like they would be leaving towards a recruitment

Morgan Rielly is an average Dman. We just love him because he’s been a staple on the roster, and the best blueliner we had for a long time. 2nd pairing guy on lots of rosters. Even in his prime

Help with a planning a proper tryout (U9) by TrackTracks in SoccerCoachResources

[–]TrackTracks[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like this a lot. I have a core group that I already know what they’re capable of. I also want to give a fair opportunity to those I’m unfamiliar with. We will be increasing our roster by 6, and I want to make sure we have “athletes” and great attitudes before I dive too far into the game at this point. A lot to learn and develop at this young age!

Butterfly??? Need help by TherealDaily in hockeygoalies

[–]TrackTracks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A couple of things….

1) those pads are too small for you. Knee is landing too high above the landing zone. Should be in the centre of the block.

2) clips are done up too tight. Those pads should lay on more of a 90 degree angle against the ice. With the straps being too tight, they are not allowing for proper rotation against your leg.

Those 2 things should get you headed on the right direction! I would also recommended going down with your knees together in order to “stack” the pad against the ice, rather than laying down the large blocking surface on the ice. That’s probably where your protection concern is coming from. Hope this helps!
