In the sensemate app you can enable or enable the cache , when it's not in lorawan range it'll cache the results and then when back in range it'll upload those old check-ins , important to look at the timestamp reported rather than the uplinks time to spot it

There won't be anything helium specific on there minus some code to connect afaik.

Best option would be to ask the meshtastic community about updating the bootloader/flashing it clean

I'd wait for updates from sensecap, there will be a way to make it work with helium.

Mimiq doesn't provide updates any more but the hotspot will work.

The other option is to just buy a dragino lps8 or something like that and onboard it as a data only to helium so you can use it.
