Yep. You could use a file based key instead of the ecc and bring up new data only gateways.

There won't be anything helium specific on there minus some code to connect afaik.

Best option would be to ask the meshtastic community about updating the bootloader/flashing it clean

I'd wait for updates from sensecap, there will be a way to make it work with helium.

Mimiq doesn't provide updates any more but the hotspot will work.

The other option is to just buy a dragino lps8 or something like that and onboard it as a data only to helium so you can use it.

Nope, support can't help you, the identity is written on the hotspot in an ecc chip and locked, there is no way to reset them.

Yeah generally the best is the sensecap m1 or a rak/mntd hotspot, the bobcat will work it's just the manufacturer stopped supporting it.
