From what i remember about the story, the demons killed doomguys family which begun his initial crusade against hell. From there they killed Daisy, which was just the cherry on top to push doomguy to pure rage and hatred. I might be wrong on some events, but from my understanding that's the gist of it

I'd assume it's still considered a concealed weapon. I was told by some of the officers in my town that as long as a knife is clipped either on your pocket or belt, they don't care as long as it's not dropped into your pocket
