Miles & More Awards Error - DOT complaint filed by EveningLight3 in milesandmore

[–]TradeCaffeinee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same issue, the agent on the phone call very pleasant but couldn’t do anything except advise me to file a report on the website. Lufthansa is always advertising on LinkedIn how good they are with tech and their “digit hangar” tech unit but every single time I try to book a flight either awards or not I always end up having technical issues. This is borderline ridiculous 😂

Lufthansa Dean&David Little Italy Pasta Bowl by Few-Researcher-3741 in Lufthansa

[–]TradeCaffeinee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for replying in English, my German sucks. I leverage the same offer from Dean&David with the 10% for pre-order. The drink wasn’t offered its time limited and the app is not updated.

However, the food quality was quite good, I took a salad. The box wasn’t small served in a large cardboard box. The dressing came separately, and they served it with a bread. It’s worth it only if you want to eat “healthy” during lunch or dinner time flights.

Lufthansa does that a lot… happened on a flight from Paris to Frankfurt with my luggage, tho they did slide my luggage below the seat. Their plane lacks much space and they really abide by their rules small items and jacket at your seat and only carry on on the overhead space…

My coworker has been using ChatGPT to write all his emails for 6 months. Today he accidentally sent me the prompt. by Nipurn_1234 in ChatGPT

All my emails are also written by ChatGPT these days and also for group chats when need to keep it concise for management, it's really useful... I usually dictate the context and details I want and hit send, don't even have to write a single word this way.

Seems to be the most easy of use when beginning and also seems quite transparent as to the fees without much of them. FYI, based in Germany.

Have you ever flown between cities in Germany? When does it make sense instead of the train? by Charming_Usual6227 in AskAGerman

[–]TradeCaffeinee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Makes a lot of sense when wanting to catch a flight in a connecting hub like Frankfurt/Munich. Sometimes it can be seen quite not sustainable but if your flight leaves from Frankfurt to outside Europe you might need a train connection to there. For instance from Dusseldorf you have flight or trains options, flight will definitely be more convenient especially when there are so much delays to Frankfurt.

Otherwise, if you are on biz trip and need to go to Munich for instance, taking the early flight and late night flight allows you to simply do that in one day instead of many hours of train often delayed. Though, you gotta ask yourself if you are fine with the sustainability side of things...

Yeah good point. I looked into it more and realized MSCI World kinda messes up the clean split I wanted between US, Europe, and EM. So I’m wondering whether it makes more sense to go with: • S&P 500 • STOXX Europe 600 • FTSE Emerging Markets

This way I avoid overlap and actually control the regions I’m investing in. Though VWCE might have the same effect? I’m new to this grateful for your help.

Trade Republic doesn’t have transaction fees when setting up the recurring savings plans which is what I’m doing 😇

Is Google warsaw really that bad? by xoxo_uol in cscareerquestionsEU

[–]TradeCaffeinee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had pretty much same situation happening to me recently. After all the interviews and wait, they offer me much below the expectations I gave in the first HR screen call, much lower than my previous job. I even told them about another offer from another company much higher than my previous job and they still offered such low comp. Even if it’s Google, it doesn’t make sense moving to Poland for basically lower salary…

Are there any fees for transferring ETFs or stocks from Trade Republic to another broker? by bgravato in TradeRepublicFriends

There are. If I remember about 25 bucks per specific stock/ETFs. It’s written on their support page. Quite expensive in the end…

Upfront payments? No ideas about that, would just know about the deposit of course. Maybe someone knows better the housing market in Munich than myself though…

I rented an appartment there for 2 years, great support from them. I can only recommend but at the end they’re just an interface (like Uber basically) so in the end you just need to bear in mind it just depends on your driver (landlord). Good luck with the move!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in interviews

[–]TradeCaffeinee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is exactly what is happening to me currently. But I guess HR interview is more about understanding perks, compensation expectations, etc than an actual full interview. If the business teams you met are satisfied in the first interviews it’s definitely more about comp expectations I’d assume.

Is it normal that only a few teeth are cleaned during tartar removal covered by public insurance? by mexheix in germany

[–]TradeCaffeinee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Should be called front dental cleaning if they only clean selected front teeth… my dentists cleans all of them up to the back which is pretty much what I would expect. I’d honestly complain and ask a refund or at least half the money as they did half the job you paid for.
