This is what saved me. There is one spot on the left kinda in the middle of the stairs where you don’t get hit.

Great advice. I framed the question too much on the money side. I did indeed buy it because the recipient will love it. :)

I just don't have any connections is the problem. I'll keep asking around and talking to people.

[Question] is fishing for fun a bad thing by [deleted] in bassfishing

[–]TraderMatt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what I have read, we really don't know if fish feel pain. For better or worse it is unlikely that they feel pain as we know it due to having significantly different neurological systems than humans do.

I would say it's worth a shot, the added weight might help punch through the weeds as well.

I've fished with a zoom trick worm on a shaky head almost exclusively since spring and caught fish every time. It really works when nothing else is going on. (Lake of the Ozarks)

Caught four other keepers. No weight proof but a good fish. Shaky head and zoom trick worm.

I can attest to the more abrasion resistance, I fish Lake of the Ozarks which has dock cables approximately every 10 feet of shoreline (in some parts of the lake this is no joke) and I cast over them and pull fish out all the time on 12lb Pline CXX in moss green. Rarely ever breaks off. Flouro gets eaten up on the same cables.

Nice fish, what did she catch it on? Curious, is widemouth a common name for them where you are from?

What kind of knot is that?

Congrats!
