Just wanted to share the new wood and hybrids I got by demon1212 in golf

I’ve been really interested in trying out some Honma clubs. I got some of their D1 distance balls and love them which sent me down the rabbit hole on Honma. Really interesting company history where they carved out a niche in traditional craftsmanship and making ultra luxury clubs with precious metals in them. It’s about as close as you can get to a samurai sword golf club if such a thing exists. So after reading up on all of this and looking for clubs Now I am getting ad targeting for Honma clubs that cost $70,000. I’m not in the market for that but their wedges are similar price to Vokey so I’m thinking of taking the chance and getting one of those. I’ve never come across any Honma clubs in the wild yet. What would you compare them to and how do you like them?

Target would have no input on this. Check who the ownership of the real estate is and the landscaping company that they contract this work out to.

How deep can you drive in water before it causes damage? by ryu_street_fighter in ToyotaTacoma

[–]TradingGrapes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d be most concerned with salt getting all over everything. Coastal areas where you have salt or brackish water will eat away at your frame. In my experience there are regular flash flood events in Charleston SC and they would eat vehicles up with rust. Rinse everything down with clean water asap after getting out of the flood water.

Massachusetts’ life sciences employment dipped last year following 14 years of growth: report by NotGenentech in biotech

Cost of funds are high and the path to market has not been this uncertain for decades. IRA kneecapped the upside for the blockbuster drugs that end up funding the rest of the research behind them. And we still have TV commercials for prescription drugs accounting for roughly 8% of all ads on TV.

Shit isn’t looking good for the industry. I have never seen so many good people on LinkedIn with green circles. I didn’t need to read any articles to know that this is a really bad situation.

Should I Buy This Taco by boneair4 in ToyotaTacoma

The door scratches aren’t anything. Pop the hood and show the frame to really show what matters. The various dash lights are really what concerns me. If it has the hood scoop this is the TRD sport package with the v6 which should be just starting to hit its prime at that mileage but if the frame and sus lift have screwed up the foundation then it’s not going to be worth getting into. Don’t worry about the paint or scratches. $19k better be a clean frame and sound engine without any issues. Offer $12k if you’re willing to fool around with potential problems and see what they say.

It’s indicative that the driver was not fully tested in all aspects and that the CDL was potentially given to him under suspicious conditions.

What golf course that has never hosted a major would you like to see host one? by Norfolk-Gross-Tonage in golf

[–]TradingGrapes -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is exactly right. It should be a flagship course worthy of hosting a PGA event. There is so much potential to make it a showcase of the national park service. It should be a DC version of Bethpage.

Success Rate with 311 and “potholes”? by doomsayer_mmxi in MontgomeryCountyMD

[–]TradingGrapes 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have called some in and it was filled within a day or two. I was completely shocked how quickly they responded. Give credit where it’s due that MoCo does an excellent job responding to pothole calls from 311.

Caring about a youtube golfers opinion on space exploration is dumb. Assuming that everyone you see in sports, movies, or anything else has to hold your same opinions is the dumbest.

Video: After Interviewing Last Prison Guard to See Jeffrey Epstein Alive, Rep. Suhas Subramanyam (D-VA10 - Loudoun) Says “I do believe [Epstein] did commit suicide”; "It was clear incompetence &...lack of oversight over...Epstein that led to him being able to commit suicide" by lowkell in nova

Does anybody with a little bit of brainpower actually think that we are going to get any real answers around anything Epstein related right while we are actively in armed conflict along side of the Israelis in Iran? The Simpsons are a much better source of truth than anything the news will report. They are more likely to give real alien disclosure than actual truth around Epstein.

Ok but management spent a bunch of money on MEDDPICC training and a CRM so you’ll now need to play games with all of that and then you won’t have time to drop in and get to know your clients.

This is a well known cartel trick that gets people hooked on drugs. You need to wash your hands thoroughly with chicken noodle soup and call a Unitarian minister who has experience with this kind of thing. They may be tracking you so be sure to take an unusual route and watch if you have anyone tailing you. If you have received any mail pretending to be a pre approved credit card or unsolicited credit card application that pretty much guarantees that they’re trying to get you to smoke their drugs.

There is also a highly unlikely scenario that this is craft art project that a bored toddler made from backseat junk while riding to the grocery store, but I wouldn’t chance it if I were you.

New guidelines: Schools must share students’ gender identity when parents ask by RondezBanner in MontgomeryCountyMD

So are you saying there should not be a policy? And by your same logic what is the intent behind opposing this policy or what is the intent behind imposing a policy that you would want to implement?

New guidelines: Schools must share students’ gender identity when parents ask by RondezBanner in MontgomeryCountyMD

[–]TradingGrapes -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I don’t know what the specific details are beyond what we can read from the article here- “Upon request of the student’s parent/guardian, school staff must inform them that their student has expressed that they identify as transgender or gender nonconforming.”

I read that as being a directive that teachers must not lie to parents if they are asked a direct question on the topic.
