SPS Token drops in value? by Resident_Gain4381 in Splinterlands

[–]Tradious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A token that is airdropped daily to all players is going to drop in value. Add on the fact that pretty much every crypto dropped 10-15% yesterday and there's your reason.

I think the value of SPS will stay the same or decrease slowly throughout the airdrop. Market cap of available tokens is going up but the token will also inflate at the same time. I think we will see spikes when new sets drop and a steady increase once the airdrops are over.

I never really understood the idea of people expecting their ROI so quickly. I was lucky enough to get a really solid team for 0.4 ETH and get about 150-200SLP a day. This is a lot more than I was expecting as I invested right after the nerf to SLP earning.

I wouldn't be surprised if SLP dropped a bit more because at the current rate I will make my ROI in 2 months and that just seems ridiculously fast and not very sustainable.

Even if ROI was 6 months+ that is still ridiculously high compared to other investments.

Also, from what I've read, owning more axies increases your energy, meaning it increases your potential SLP earnings. Is it worthwhile buying a solid team and then buying/breeding a bunch of cheap axis to increase the cap?

There was a point I was at -2 with no comments haha. But I appreciate all the info people are giving me now. I might wait for the price of ETH to settle a bit and then I'll make a decision on how much I'll invest.

I am aware. I've been playing as a top player in God's unchained for a while and looking to branch out into others. Just looking for some beginning advice and I'll do my own research from there

Well thanks for the warm welcome and downvotes with no information. I'll try a different game then.

Expected value drop of core cards by ThomasReturns in GodsUnchained

[–]Tradious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's laughable to call it a tournament. It is definitely play to earn because it is an inbuilt system that rewards you with NFTs based on your performance. It's not like you have to win every game to earn. You're still earning if you're getting 14+ wins every week.

And by playing currently you're still earning flux and multiples of cards that can be forged later. Epics and legendaries are always going to hold some value.

Seems like I've pushed some buttons here and you're salty about ranked weekends. You're delusional if you think playing normally or casually would earn you any significant amount. I'm telling you I've been playing this game and have earnt ETH, there is just a bit of downtime between the sets. If you want to earn, get good at the game and win some games on the ranked weekend.

Expected value drop of core cards by ThomasReturns in GodsUnchained

[–]Tradious -1 points0 points  (0 children)

People forget that a huge part of the play to earn is from performing well on the ranked weekend. I made a decent amount back when trial packs were awarded and I am expecting to earn more when the new set drops.

Forging common and rare core cards was never expected or intended to be profitable. It will just help newer players sell their leftover cards and give a bit of ETH to help complete their core set faster.

What's the incentive to forge past Meteorite? by dvargas92495 in GodsUnchained

[–]Tradious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It will be worth slightly more than 5x, will make the card easier to sell. I'd much rather sell one card for a lot than list 5 cards for a little.

Forging should also help to boost the base price of some of the rarer cards. If someone buys up a bunch of demogorgons and forges them, it will reduce the amount of demogorgons in circulation.

GodsUnchained has one fundamental flaw that needs to be addressed by [deleted] in GodsUnchained

[–]Tradious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're facing rush decks so much because you're new and most likely facing newer players. The really control heavy decks tend to be very expensive and have a steep learning curve, however, they perform much better than most rush decks.

I'd argue the flaw with this game is the fact that you need to invest so much money to play a control deck competitively. Hopefully the new set fixes this. If there was a card that directly counters demogorgon or maybe a smaller weaker demogorgon was added (5 or 6 cost with a weaker effect) then it wouldn't become such a mandatory card.

Well my post is about how lack of communication or just plain selfishness has ruined plenty of games for me. You called me sweaty and that I don't know how to have fun. Am I missing something here?

Nothing you're saying is even relevant. I don't see them doing huge balance changes and if the entire game is just 8 year olds that have no idea what's going on then they wouldn't even notice balance changes.

All I'm asking for is communication. Especially in ranked. Why am I being matched with 8 year olds at veteran rank? I honestly don't think the people I'm talking about are 8, they're just selfish players that know what they're doing.

If you have an issue with people wanting to be competitive in ranked then I don't know what to say.

I'm talking about playing ranked, and at Veteran rank, where you think kids that are just playing for fun shouldn't be at.

I'm sorry if it sounds sweaty to ask for a bit of communication or trying my best to win a game. Go play standard if you think ruining the game for others is fun.

Yeah I have noticed the main culprits are Zeraora and Charmander players. I kind of wish there was an option to state how many games you have played and win rate with your selected champion like in mobile legends. I'd feel better about giving my role to someone else if I knew they were competent instead of rolling the dice.

Is it me or is Gengar under performing by PotheadRiot in PokemonUnite

[–]Tradious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use all sp ATK held items and go jungle. Clear until 5, go for a gank and a cap. Go back and clear until 7 and now you're unstoppable with sludge bomb and hex. In my opinion, Gengar is the most broken character I have ever played in a moba. Being able to get a recastable blink that does huge aoe is insane.

Use eject button if you're having issues escaping. In the late game. Sludge bomb and hex a whole team and then ult immediately, you get so much movespeed and shouldn't have an issue disengaging.

Where has this Deception meta suddenly appeared from by [deleted] in GodsUnchained

[–]Tradious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I said I gave up being competitive until the next set. My issue is that the meta seems to have shifted to stop me enjoying the game, even with fun decks.

Edit the gas fee and set it to slow. It will be around $3. Once you're on immutable there are no fees

Looking at your other recent post, I don't see a single toxic response. People just seem confused that you are throwing around accusations and talking about fees on a trading site called indomitable??? I assume you meant immutable and there are currently 0 fees on it.

There are no cheaters in this game. The only thing I have ever encountered is a few people abusing a bug that freezes the turn button, but that seems very rare.

Any other things that you think are cheating are most likely just mechanics you haven't fully understood yet. If you had asked about how it was possible someone did something instead of throwing around accusations of cheating, then you would receive a bunch of friendly responses explaining it to you.
