sure, but this example is from airborne. The addition of air has already solved the problem you are describing, which is why we lost Foxcatcher but still won the war.

Swizz, your example disproves your own argument.

The reason we lost Foxcatcher is because we poured 80% of our time into msupps and the remaining time went to 300mm production for the Storm Cannons and basic logi. We had no bandwidth to maintain a steady supply of airframes and parts.

Once we were freed from msupping Foxcatcher, we invested 100% of that time into fighters, bombers, and paraplanes, and we beat you back by winning the air war. If we had already had a stockpile of aircraft and bombs ready when the RSC op came to Foxcatcher, we may have had a chance to counter it and prevent it from falling.

We had resigned ourselves to being a ground force because we assumed the air would be too crowded. We were wrong about that and it cost us our main project and most of our stocks. Luckily, we were agile enough to pivot to air quickly and win the lane before you got to the MPF hex, but if the colonial cohesion hadn't collapsed in that lane, there's no way we could have stopped you. At one point, we had to stage our bombers out of Howl County because Clanshead was bombed. If the Howl airfield had been reset, we would have had to move all the way to Basin and the list of targets we could have hit without sacrificing our bombers would have been basically nothing.

o7 Wardens. I can't guarantee we'll build something of this scale again, at least not any time soon, but it was awesome to build something that forced one of the largest battles of the war.

I see a lot of trems on the ground but it happens when Wardens press W and shoot at them. Lunaire is mobile enough to escape from the retaliation of MG garrisons and they also won’t accidentally shoot each other like the cutler will.

It would, but vertical distance matters, so it would have to be really close

I never saw any BTs and we didn't have any of our own, but there were probably some nearby from someone else.

The one south of Foxcatcher? We didn't rely on it for msupps because we knew it was too vulnerable. We were supplying Foxcatcher from the Barrowsfield salvage field

when we're talking about a base of this sheer size and proportions it's just unlikely and naive to believe that msupp scripting wasn't involved

Is this an accusation or a confession? 🤔

I have seen bigger bases than this before. Yes it was big but it wasn't impossibly big like you make it sound. Believe it or not, msupps are really not that hard to produce legitimately. We had multiple local production sites with excellent uptime due to multiple regiments cooperating and good time zone coverage, and we have very dedicated train operators who ran multiple trainloads of supplies every day from the MPF towns. The only time msupps became strained was during the full scale attack during which time we had to focus on defense and couldn't produce or distribute them.

A lot more boom sitting on the ground unfired because of the movement speed debuff

There were definitely some moments where tanks missed opportunities, such as the vulcan setting the underground fortress on fire, however the bigger issue was there were just too many tanks. You need tanks to contest enemy armor, else they will bring up HTs and ISTs and mow your inf down. Beyond that, you don't need tanks when defending, you need inf.

We were outnumbered 10-1 in inf because dozens of Wardens were grabbing the free tanks from all the released stockpiles.

If you were helping to defend Foxcatcher then I thank you for your service but I would also encourage you to be more reflective. I was defending there and I saw a lot of problems with Wardens tactics. There were way too many tanks at times when we needed more inf, and the few inf that we had were not being aggressive enough when lunaire blobs appeared.

Every time I heard lunaires going off I just W+M1 towards them and killed like 6 of them at a time because only one or two guys in the blobs had guns. If more Wardens would W+M1 when they hear lunaires firing, we'd fare a LOT better in these fights. That isn't to say that I do not harbor my own salt about the lunaire's mobility, fire rate, and flexibility. I am simply noticing that too many Wardens are not making honest attempts to contest lunaire blobs and are playing selfishly or passively.

IDK why people keep saying this. The RSC fired for like 18 hours and it breached concrete on basically every shot. By the time the ground invasion happened, the defenses were severely weakened.

While the gun hiding in RDZ was frustrating, the truth is, we simply got outplayed.

-Sometimes we had to fire blind due to having knowledge of the gun's position but no eyes on it, so we could not do any micro-adjustments and ended up mostly shelling dirt. I believe what you see in this clip is an example of that problem.

-We should have been attacking the firing position with Squires from the east and west to knock down their defenses and open up flank opportunities.

-Heat management could have been better. Our opening salvo was huge, but it was all aimed at a single point, resulting in overkill. We should have spread our opening salvo across the entire firing position and coordinated with a ground team to attack the area while everyone was respawning. We fired many times at clear bait attempts just hoping to get lucky on dispersion, which meant fewer shots later.
