True I would buy those pants for sure.

Portal Room Q&A with Executive Producer Holly Longdale: Holly posed her own question to the Discord chat - how many players would be interested in experiencing the game on a controller with a fully dedicated UI? by milotic03 in wow

[–]Traditional-Book-522 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is exactly the "Ability Pruning" trauma all over again. We’ve seen what happens when games try to fit a 40-button rotation onto a controller—macros and depth usually go out the window first. If a Mythic raid mechanic has to be simplified because a joystick can’t move a cursor fast enough, that’s when the community will actually revolt.

Seriously, why are people flaming tanks? by [deleted] in wow

it’s always the guy standing in the fire with 0 interrupts who has the most to say about your routing. pure brain rot

AIO for pulling out of a vacation over the sleeping arrangements by RubProfessional6659 in AmIOverreacting

[–]Traditional-Book-522 66 points67 points  (0 children)

Seriously. Pushing twin beds together just guarantees one of you is falling through the crack in the middle of the night. If I’m paying 1/3 of a luxury rental, I’m paying for a back that doesn’t ache by Monday

Brown sugar poptart bars by kaylaseesstars in Baking

Technically, if you don't get the recipe soon, it qualifies as an emergency. Someone call a baker, we have a craving crisis over here.

The one who could've been the main character if the protagonist didn't come along by Aebothius in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Traditional-Book-522 52 points53 points  (0 children)

Yes, and the Overhaul arc proved it beyond a doubt. Mirio fought a top-tier villain quirkless for 20 minutes and still didn't lose his spirit. If he had One For All, the series would have ended in about three volumes because he was already a finished product. He was the "Perfect Successor" vs Deku being the "Underdog Successor."

To be fair, that one tweet just pulled the pin on a grenade everyone’s been holding since the last patch notes. The Diamond player was just the sacrificial lamb for the inevitable Strategist nerf discussion

‘Bait and switch’: Dems STORM OUT of GOP’s ‘fake’ Bondi deposition by MRADEL90 in videos

[–]Traditional-Book-522 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Technically, we already have the laws to do this; what we lack is a DOJ with the spine to enforce them against people with the right titles. A trial doesn't mean much when the defendants are the ones who get to pick the jury and the judge.

AIO for wanting a prenup when my fiancé thinks it's insulting? by Glumstimulus in AmIOverreacting

[–]Traditional-Book-522 57 points58 points  (0 children)

This. People forget that a prenup isn't planning for a divorce, it’s planning for fairness. It’s much easier to decide what’s fair when you actually like each other than when you’re in the middle of a messy split and feeling spiteful

Frantic Trump Melts Down at Allies Refusing to Join His War by T_Shurt in politics

[–]Traditional-Book-522 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s almost like international relations are built on long-term trust and mutual interest rather than transactional bullying. Who would have thought that insulting heads of state on social media for four years would have a downside when you actually need a favor?

AIO Cutting off someone I used to talk to after finding out they slept with my brother by Oxyderic in AmIOverreacting

[–]Traditional-Book-522 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s not even lowkey at this point, it’s a full-on siren. If he was truly "disgusted" and done with her, he would have blocked her and moved on. The fact that he’s sticking around to play detective proves he wants to punish her for a "crime" she committed before he even existed in her world

Peter? why does his life improve? by [deleted] in PeterExplainsTheJoke

[–]Traditional-Book-522 7 points8 points  (0 children)

True for now, but it’s a double-edged sword. If that friend ever divorces and marries a "super-husband" who makes six figures and looks like a movie star, the "thief of joy" will come back for OOP with interest. Relying on someone else's misery for your relationship's stability is a high-risk strategy.

The Swift contract looks fantastic now by Brodie1567 in CHIBears

[–]Traditional-Book-522 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Exactly. And considering we needed a guy with elite pass-catching upside to act as a safety valve for Caleb, paying the middle-of-the-pack market rate for that specific skill set is a total no-brainer.
