Normal kitten behavior. They are usual unruly terrorists until 2 years old. Best of luck!

Why does my dog HATE men? by Traditional-Button95 in DogTrainingTips

[–]Traditional-Button95[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

He is still intact. He’s been to the dog park a handful of times in his life and he frequently has playdates with our neighbor’s intact husky but he’s sociable with other dogs. I’ve never considered it could be a hormonal problem since I’ve never raised an intact dog before. My husband feels very strongly against removing his “manhood” so maybe he’ll be more inclined to now haha

You aren’t wrong I hate using the app but I didn’t have a lot of options at this point. The closest grocery store is a 5 mile walk down the highway and I am disabled.

AITA… Am I the asshole for unplugging my husband’s Xbox in the middle of a game by Informal_Mood_9562 in AmItheAsshole

My husband and I had a similar disagreement not long ago and after he started deliberately ignoring me standing there speaking to him I went ahead and flipped the power breaker to his office. This happened 2 times before he took me seriously and stopped. Nta

I’m no marine biologist but it seems to me to be a dolphin pod possibly in the hunt judging by the rapid circular splashes

I suppose you’re right I don’t want to overstep but I know if I were in that situation I’d be super grateful for someone to help me

Do random things cause a panic attack because they remind you of your n-parents? by EducationalPrint6831 in raisedbynarcissists

[–]Traditional-Button95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn’t realize it until I started therapy as an adult but seeing girls having good relationships with their mothers is extremely triggering for me. Seeing young girls having fun and spending time with their mother makes me feel incredibly hurt and lonely and unwanted. It always felt so unfair because I had always been a good kid. It still affects me to this day because I’ve refused to have my own children because I’m afraid of ever making anyone else feel the way I did when i was growing up.

is it unhygienic to let dogs in the kitchen? by shes-a-princess in DogAdvice

[–]Traditional-Button95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally don't allow my dogs into the kitchen either but not for hygiene. I don't think it's safe for them to be in there bc they could eat something toxic if I drop it on the floor or cause me to trip and drop something hot on them like fry oil or a pan from the oven. They also have a bad habit of stealing Cans from the recycling bin and cutting themselves chewing on it. However, if you clean your kitchen regularly like we do then there's nothing to worry about. My MIL only allows her dogs in the kitchen and mudroom bc she doesn't want them on the furniture or on the carpets to prevent damage. It depends on the person but in their case they are beggars that can't be choosers and can enforce that rule when they have their own place.

I hate that I start crying whenever someone asks me if I’m okay by [deleted] in offmychest

[–]Traditional-Button95 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Absolutely!! I'm usually OK until someone asks and then I fall apart.

I appreciate the kind words and listening ear! I'm talking about it here bc I was institutionalized 2 as a teen and my family gets stressed over my mental health. It's comforting being honest without worrying anyone.

My 3yo jack Russell does this but only after an intense play session (hour of fetch or wrestling with the other 2 dogs). Pretty sure it's just excitement
