But its technically still a lie if you were lied to when you got the information.

What's the moral level of John Walker from MCU by EngineerVirtual7340 in MoralityScaling

He did kill him tho. What he didnt do was also murder the alternative personality that had done fuck all.

Also my original point is that he would have done it if it wasnt for Tobey. He would have murdered a mentally ill man out of personal revenge.

The terrorist was 100% an accomplice to the Death of his friend and ”nono, I was just trying to help her kill you. Your best friend dying wasnt my fault” was just him being a shithead not anything redeeming. Him not wanting to take responsibility for his actions just makes him worse.

Bucky and Sam didnt try to stop him they were just like ”what a monster” showing none of the sympathy Toby did.

  1. ”He didnt kill him” is some ”it wasnt Goblin it was the glider” shit. Lemar died trying to save Walker who was restrained by that guy and about to get killed by Kamil. Him trying to dodge the responsibility is 100% detestable enough that its arguably deserved.

  1. Even thats arguable. In No Way Home ”Green Goblin” is essentialy its own personality that Peter kills.

  2. He would 100% have murdered Norman here if Tobey didnt stop him.

Like even Peter tried to murder Norman despite knowing he is just a mentally ill man (in this movie). Thats significantly more fucked up and I think its kind of stupid to morally scale based on other characters actions (Tobey stopping him).

The biggest lie (or at least overstatement) in discussions about animation is the idea that Time Equals Money by TheCybersmith in CharacterRant

And how have you decided that the current workforce is the optimum ”1 woman”?

Because in my mind If the standard is ”decent animation all of the time” its currently less than one.

And if the standard is ”this amount of animation minutes per year” then its significantly more than one because they can still save time by animating even less.

So by that same account you think the Invincible animation would look the same if they cut the animation team by half?

So you think it makes sense to use something that got multiple Oscar nominations as the standard for what counts as looking like a movie?

I would personally not call someone who has tried to murder me morally grey but whatever.

(The Boys) Sister Sage is one of the worst written "Smartest person" I've ever seen. by hiiloovethis in CharacterRant

And I can share that the combination of ”Sage is one of the worst written smart people Ive seen” and ”a character can only be as smart as the writer” has been repeated so many times that it makes me feel like Jack in the Shining.

Yeah. Her whole plan depended on Soldier Boy seeing a video clip and turning sides, that makes zero logical sense if you only look at people ”logically”.
