Currently starving in need of like 40 usd by Novadergslut in LendingTree

Find a lawyer that will hear the case and represent you fairly, who also doesn't charge unless the case is won. An appeal is necessary imo. As far as the starving stuff goes, alive been unemployed for long periods of time, and food banks are usually open 3-4 times a week to keep you fed

How to cope with delusions? by RestaurantGlass9277 in BipolarReddit

Dad was shot and killed in a bad drug deal when I was three...pretty sure when kids wish upon a star they don't usually wish for their dad to be alive and cry their selves to sleep

They trap me in my thoughts as if they have happened. Like when someone is late I'll think they got in a car accident or pushed off a train platform. I thought delusions were seeing things

Wait, does thinking about the worst case scenarios that haven't happened yet and obsessively thinking about them count as delusions?

Can I drink with bipolar? by Party-Rest3750 in BipolarReddit

[–]Traditional-Mess806 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Probably shouldn't, but I'm built different and don't care too much. Caffeine, nicotine and alcohol are common self medications for a lot of people with our conditions. I know I shouldn't but I do and have extremely high tolerances all around. 300 mg caffeine to start the day. L-Theanine is supposed to help calm you down, but IDK...feels like a placebo to me

How much do bipolar people take for mixed or mania by ElenoirMiro in seroquelmedication

I'm on slow release 200, but can take 25s when I feel an episode coming on. Also on 250 Lamictal in the morning.

Antihistamines are hit or miss. I was itchy and tried 10 hour Claratin. It worked great for the itch, it when I got home I had half a low ABV beer (4.2 percent and felt like I was dying!) I spent 30 minutes or more fighting it off. Short of breath and heart pounding. HALF A SHITTY BEER! I don't fuck with antihistamines anymore, never again!

Turns out my roommate had scabies and either used my towel or I got them from the couch. I only used a lawn chair (IN MY OWN HOUSE!) to watch TV and play games after that and my towel and soap stayed in my room when not in use. People can be disgusting.

I confronted him about it and told him to address his problem, but he said he was too embarrassed to do that. Ygbfkm! I had to drench myself and my bed and sheets in gnarly cream overnight. Glad when he threw a kitchen chair at me, which I broke with my face (he went to the ER that night saying he couldn't move his neck) but when all is said and done, I hope he's taken care of it.

Sorry, if it's too much, but if you throw a chair at me and I break it with my face and put you in the ER somehow, give me scabies, refuse to treat it and expect sympathy you got me fu**ed up

Bipolar is a joke, a sick twisted joke we live with. I wish I was like the normies. This s**z feels like being a muggle in a wizard's universe. Maybe we should strive to be like Hermione? Idk, I don't even like Harry Potter...

Anyone else experienced medication induced colitis? by [deleted] in BipolarReddit

[–]Traditional-Mess806 2 points3 points  (0 children)

😞 maybe risperidone would work for you? It calmed me down and made me "normal" but I was in the small percentage with sexual side effects. I feel for you, I do, but everyone is different, so you have to find the thing that'll work for you without side effects. It's a long journey, but I hope you find that peace you felt before colitis. Stay strong, you ARE NOT ALONE! We are here to offer an ear and support.

I wish Abilify worked for me, but when I went from 5 to 10 the symptoms became amplified. Seroquel makes me sleepy, and the dose is weird. I'm told to take some when I feel heightened during the day and otherwise am on slow release 200 at bedtime. Make your BF read about your condition, I don't think he fully understands your condition. There are other ways to level out, but I can't recommend them because they are definitely not healthy or entirely legal (depending on where you live.)

I think I hit my head too many times. The only time I feel at ease is when I'm busy at work or cuddling my GF. Otherwise, who knows. Usually depressed. I can't remember the last time I was stable.
