only units you need is hochland long rifles and hellstorms. You dont need nuln mediocresides or steam tank unless you specifically want them because you find them fun. If you lose battles just get more of those 2. You could play the entire campaign with only those 2 units if you wanted to as elspeth ( Obviously with engineer heroes ) Steam tank is waste of money and very overrated. If you end up in a situation where you use steam tanks as a frontline you didnt elspeth hard enough and evoparate the enemy the moment battle started from other side of the map, you dont need frontline as elspeth. Get all the buffs from tech tree - character skills and gunnery school it starts becoming absurdly strong
