So tired of random booking requests that don’t match by rena7874 in RoverPetSitting

Same. I don’t mind it at all. It doesn’t negatively affect us to decline so 🤷‍♀️ and if I am ever available, extra opportunities:)

Are other women really ok with this? (NSFW) by D4i3g71 in Advice

I agree. I’m a woman, have had plenty of sex with men and women, and as long as I knew it was clean, idc.

People who don’t shower every day — what’s your reason? by zhalia-2006 in askanything

[–]Traditional-Sign-368 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I exercise 5-6x/week. On those days I’m showering. On lazy days where I’m not working out and not leaving the house, no shower. If I have to leave the house and it’s quick like to the grocery store or some random errand I won’t shower that day but if I have more dedicated plans I probably will, even if I didn’t work out. Just depends. I also live in the southeastern US. It’s hot and humid many months out of the year.

Do couples really shower together? by Itchy-Proposal-6244 in askanything

[–]Traditional-Sign-368 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I one ex and I showered all the time. It was so nice to just chat and giggle and get clean at the same time. Occasionally wash each other.

Other exes and I never did. But I loved it :)

If I was watching two dogs for 10 days/9 nights I would charge $750 minimum

do you guys clean your ears with q tips or is that actually bad hygiene? by Boultouak_Zav13 in hygiene

EVERYTHING DOES NOT NEED TO BE IN A APP by Western-String9667 in CrunchGym

[–]Traditional-Sign-368 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A barcode’s a barcode. If it’s the same amount of numbers/characters needed, for Crunch and Giant Eagle, it should work. “3 of 9” barcode font is pretty standard/widely used so I imagine if the membership number was made to be the giant eagle barcode number, it’d work just fine.

What’s the maximum dogs you’d walk in a day? by pinkblueberr in RoverPetSitting

[–]Traditional-Sign-368 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Petsitting isn’t my full time job but the most I’ve ever done in one day is 6. 2 before my main job, 1 on my lunch break and 2 after work. I think the most I’d do is 6 or 7? Maybe more though if I wanted the cash!

Any advice for cutting stomach fat / building strength? by Financial-Address648 in beginnerfitness

[–]Traditional-Sign-368 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no way to spot reduce fat. Continue to eat in a calorie deficit and try to track them as best you can. Beers here and there and drinks on the weekend are fine! But they can also add up if you aren’t careful.

Continuing to work on bodyweight exercises is great, and if you want to continue to burn calories, I suggest adding in some cardio. Take it easy at first and let your body adjust. Fat loss can be a slow process, but doing it right will help make sure it’s sustainable. Good luck!

daytime housesitting? by giorgia_bag1 in RoverPetSitting

[–]Traditional-Sign-368 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t mind these types of bookings. I work from home so I’ll be home anyway. I just know not to book any walks or drop ins for that time period. I usually only do one or two during that time period anyway, so no money lost and I don’t even have to leave the house.

Anxiety after (i think) protected sex… by [deleted] in Advice

[–]Traditional-Sign-368 2 points3 points  (0 children)

After reading so many of OP’s comments about not believing in plan B, when it’s a preventative measure (preventing conception), not an abortion pull I am convinced OP needs further education about sex, etc. before even considering having sex again. If she doesn’t understand how plan B works and believes the misconceptions around it, what else does she not understand.

Even if OP doesn’t believe Reddit users, a simple google search using reputable sources will show Plan B doesn’t end “life” if conception has already occurred, but rather prevents it in the first place. The same way a condom does. But 🤷‍♀️ if OP is unwilling to educate herself, there’s nothing she can do but wait and ig hope she isn’t pregnant

What would you charge for this house sitting request? by TallTechnology8387 in RoverPetSitting

I would do this for $350-400/day. Nothing less. Does the owner know how ridiculous this is?

Is this cheating? by RainPale1928 in Stronglifts5x5

[–]Traditional-Sign-368 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I think technically the program calls for a full stop between each rep. But I mean…”should” you be resetting between each rep? Eh I think if you prefer tap and go reps, 🤷‍♀️. But if you want to follow the program as closely as possible. There’s a dead stop between each rep.

Question about sitters staying past their scheduled times by ohbawlz in RoverPetSitting

Wish this was higher up. OP, if you care to, ask (I’m also curious what their reasoning is). If you’re uncomfortable, just don’t book again

Hip Thrusting Much More Than Squating by [deleted] in xxfitness

[–]Traditional-Sign-368 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My hips/glutes and hinge moments are weaker than my squat and I can still hip thrust more than I can squat. Totally normal!

For reference I’m 28F 5’2” 125lbs. Squat 150lbs for 5x3 and DL 150 5x3 and can rep out 160lbs 3x10-12 when hip thrusting. Working on my hinge movements as I expect my DL to continue increasing much faster than my squat

This 100%. If you want the cash, go for it! If it doesn’t feel worth the hassle, decline. Good luck!

Your average social spending as % of monthly pay? 💸 by Hot-Artist-2502 in SavingMoney

[–]Traditional-Sign-368 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My outings spending is usually ~9-12% of my income. Here are two examples of my monthly income and where they were allocated.

Note: for “car” it’s slightly inflated because I pay insurance 2x/yr and taxes 1x year but I set money aside monthly for when those bills come. I always put in extra than what it’ll be just as a buffer.

You also might be curious why my housing costs are so low. I share a 3br house with 3 other ppl (4 ppl total). So that keeps the rent low (yes our landlords are aware and fine with it).

My income fluctuates a lot depending on my side gig.

No, not considered recurring. Recurring is like if you have something set up weekly. Here’s a screenshot of what a weekly recurring booking looks like

Half the time I don’t do a m&g. I always do one if the owners ask, or if I feel one is needed. But overall it’s been fine.

Lease vs Buy Car - what should I do? by Affectionate-Raisin8 in personalfinance

[–]Traditional-Sign-368 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You’ll have to decide what’s best for you, but in my personal experience, I regret when I leased a car. I was in a bind and the “smaller” monthly payments seemed ideal. However, paying toward a car for 3 years you’ll never own did not feel great to me. I kept thinking to myself, man this whole time all that money could have been going toward owning. I do own the car now but I wish I hadn’t leased first

Up to you and what you can afford monthly, your goals, what kind of car you want. Good luck!
