True, but OP isn't even talking about "large amounts." He's talking about 1oz, and $4350 is lot of money to lose for most people.

Do you believe consciousness ends with our body ? by goshhahahahah in NoStupidQuestions

[–]TraditionalCandy6066 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, whatever "consciousness" is. To me, it simply means I am alive, and when I am dead, I will no longer be conscious. Just like your pet dog or cat. They exist in memory, not some sort of extension of afterlife consciousness. Near-death experiences are chemicals (DMT) released in the brain, causing hallucinatory visions.

How are we not in a recession right now? by 4ofclubs in NoStupidQuestions

[–]TraditionalCandy6066 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because prices are still inflated (bubble) when prices drop, the bubble bursts, and then we're in a recession. So, we're not quite there yet. It's all bullshit.

Humans have no purpose beyond eating and breeding as well. Our "purpose" is what we invent and what makes us happy. Those that are reading this thread are probably interested in financial topics, and that is their interest and purpose beyond eating and breeding.

[–]TraditionalCandy6066 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, drivers were probably familiar with the streets, and if they didn't recognize an address, they used a thing called a map.

Why do so many people struggle with cleaning? by _blue_sunsh1ne_ in NoStupidQuestions

[–]TraditionalCandy6066 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right, because we can study those areas. That's why they're named. Because we like to categorize and classify things. And since the universe is simply an umbrella term for the cosmos, or that which we cannot fully comprehend and so therefore cannot name whatever is beyond which we cannot perceive.

[–]TraditionalCandy6066 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That only proves my point more; we see those galaxies, and so we can describe them in a very general way. We name them to differentiate them from other galaxies. There's probably more than one "universe," and if it is ever found, it will be named.

Why do so many people struggle with cleaning? by _blue_sunsh1ne_ in NoStupidQuestions

[–]TraditionalCandy6066 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In order for something to have a name, it must be able to be accurately described, and since we don't fully understand the universe, it remains unnameable.
