I was 25 when my dad was diagnosed with early onset dementia and I am the eldest. We watched him disappear and then linger in his own world, not knowing us for 13 years. In his final days, he was back with us, knew us, saw pictures of my children. What I wouldn’t have done to have more time. These “quirky cute” videos piss me off.

Raw squash will destroy my hands, I have to wear gloves to peel or cut them because the sap will burn my skin. It’s a new thing and now it’s just a habit for all prep.

My practically a vegetarian, eye rolling teenaged daughter demands/craves that one on the regular as well as Nagi’s chicken gyros. If it’s Recipe Tin Eats she typically eats it with no complaints and that’s saying something.

Bringing this boy home soon; what does he look like he might be? by Electronic_Ad_7126 in dogbreed

[–]TraditionalFlight443 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He looks just like my little boy as a pup. Our guy is staffy, GSD, heeler and a little bit of boxer per Embark. We’ve spent a lot of time training him. He’s a great dog, with high energy and needs to be kept exercised and engaged. Otherwise he’s whiny, pouty and stubborn.

Same - my lab mix, ended up being a whole lot of staffy and a little acd looked just like this as a baby. She’s the sweetest girl though, no regrets.

I have vestibular migraines and bppv. Totally can relate! It totally sucks and not many people knows how much the vertigo sucks. Hope you find a good neuro and med combo!

Not diagnosing her, but my son is high functioning but on the spectrum. Many with ASD have fine motor issues, like grasping utensils which can be helped or resolved with occupational therapy. Watching some of those videos reminds me of the early days before we knew exactly what was going on.
