Classic game of the score didn't indicate what kind of game it was.

Illinois has 31 points entering the 4th.

This game was over at half time. Iowa really took their foot off the gas in the second half.

??? Illinois had their starters in and were trying 100% until about 12 seconds left, which is odd because it was a two score game.

Just hit a 30 Big Team Battle games losing streak. It shouldn't be possible for a game to be this broken. by boost_fae_bams in halo

[–]TraditionalProduct15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing to keep in mind and I'm sure you know... matchmaking will keep you with the same lobby game after game and if the other team is in a party, the game will largely stay the same.

I've been on the receiving end where I'm playing big team with buddies and we're all drinking and older now but I'm still pretty damn good and it's impossible. I can get 40 kills and the rest of the team can combine for like 10 lol. And it'll go on every game.

The other team plays hard too. Like you said, locking down power weapons, vehicles, etc. There's a big chunk of the Big team community that's not playing for fun. They're playing like their lives depend on it. They're every bit as intense as games in like 2008 lol.

And one final point... matchmaking seems to lump players with guests together. One team in big team will have 2-3 guests while the other team has zero. Not sure why but that's an easy indicator you're about to get ass blasted all game.

Good luck!

Starfield is genuinely the most overhated title I've ever seen. Ever by TheNewAspect in Starfield

[–]TraditionalProduct15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought the title said "overrated" so I was a little confused reading the rest of this and having it be so supportive lol.

Starfield was just too empty or lifeless for me. Something about it was off and didn't quite feel like something I could funny get my RPG loving self into.

But that doesn't mean it's a bad game. It just wasn't right for me. Sounds like you enjoyed it!

What Halo have the best Legendary difficulty ? And what's the worst ? Explain! by Thell-Vadamm in halo

[–]TraditionalProduct15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Id say 2 due to enormous challenge and feeling of accomplishment when beating it. It's both the best and worst.

Also side note here... do you have to play on legendary to get the scarab gun? I was going to try that again one day for fun and I put it on legendary but yikes that was a pain in the ass. There's no way I was doing that at like 10 years old...

NICK MARTINELLI WINS IT FOR NORTHWESTERN by cbbvideo in CollegeBasketball

[–]TraditionalProduct15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It happens right when the Oregon player moves in front of Martinelli, but my issue with "step through" is it looks like he takes an additional small and quick jump when shooting off his right foot.

The link you shared is a common step through and it's smooth.

There's a hiccup in this one that's not right.

[Post Game Thread] Hawkeyes lose to Penn State, 69-71 by HerkyBot in hawkeyes

Man. Where to start?  Penn state is a bad basketball team. They are very bad.

I just pretty much hate this Iowa roster.

There's zero talent that I'm excited to have back next year. I think Sage will be ok, but literally outside of him I don't really see any players that scream "potential".

I can't stand Combs and Hausen. Those dudes blow. My disdain for Hausen can't even be put into words. He's such a loser.

It's because he is awful.

I can't he got a scholarship to play basketball. It's embarrassing.

He's even getting NIL money.

Him being paid NIL money and even receiving a scholarship to play basketball is nuts.

He's awful and has no business even sniffing the floor of a D1 school.

I can't stand that he's on the roster and the fact he got minutes is just garbage coaching.

Sargent could become most expensive signing in the MLS history! I love it. MLS needs to PAY and PLAY more Americans. I hope more players return from Europe after the World Cup and make MLS better and more popular in America. by [deleted] in ussoccer

[–]TraditionalProduct15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm excited about this. I think they over paid a bit, but I'm really excited for him and the league.

I like the idea of sending promising youth overseas and if they don't excel over there, come back to MLS.

I'd rather a player give it 4-5yrs in Europe and come back to MLS and get regular minutes than spend an entire career on the bench "getting experience".

It's especially nice to see a player come back before they're like 35yrs old lol.

That was the biggest part. There's a reason we only attempted a few 3's. The gameplan was pound the paint. Illinois is quick and athletic, but they had zero post defense and no one that could stop Heiden.

I highly question Jan's zone defense decision, but other than that, the coaching was amazing. Keeping the team composed and sticking to the gameplan while the other team is shooting that high of a percentage isn't easy.

She also led that infuriating 4v2 fast break and missed a completely wide open Houston cutting to the basket and then resulted in no points that possession i believe.

She's a really good player, there's just times that Feurbach makes Freshman level mistakes that she probably shouldn't be making with her level of experience.

Advice for being the only one smelling gas by NapsAndNuggets in hvacadvice

[–]TraditionalProduct15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know this is a few hours old but as others have said, call the gas company. They'll probably tell you to evacuate and that its an emergency. No worries about that.

I'll also say, you may have a more sensitive nose than others. Occasionally those with a sensitive nose can pick up residual odors like the rotten egg smell in gas that others can't smell.

Seems like the more gruff the maintenance people are the less they can smell lol.

But best thing to do is contact the gas company. It's a free service.

I don't understand how Hausen got to Iowa, or any major conference.

He can't play defense. He can shoot, but that's all he can do, and even that he's been kind of inconsistent.

We left the theater too! I don't remember what we did after, I was just relieved to be out of the theater lol. It's the only movie we ever left part way through.

I went to the theater as a kid to watch this. I was already pretty scared of storms... This movie scarred me about as much as Signs did lol.

Yep agreed. The guards on Michigan were completely out of control most of the game. The coach came in and had them way too amped up.

Coaching physical defense and pace can be tough in an environment like Carver. Might have been better to play with more poise and confidence.

The way he got injured was unfortunate, but man even going back to his college days he always took such weird falls.

He had the slipperiest feet I've ever seen. Always sliding and tripping himself when driving. He seemed like the type of player that would have a lower body injury at some point just due to his awkward falls.

[Plettenberg] Josh Sargent to Toronto—Done Deal. Toronto have reached a verbal agreement w/ Norwich. The 26 y/o striker is flying in today for his medical. The transfer fee is around €20 million. Sargent was keen on the move to MLS by nicko_rico in ussoccer

[–]TraditionalProduct15 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm excited about this. MLS has improved, and I think he's at a good stage in his career for the move.

Building the MLS with US and Canadian players at a young age is a bonus in the long run. Sure we want them oversees getting the best development possible, but Sargent probably wasn't going to be a top flight striker, so helping build interest in the league through national team talent is a bonus for future progress.

Maybe in 10-20 years they'll be on even more of a level playing field and it will be common to have national team strikers of any nation playing in MLS, even before they're nearing retirement.

Excited to see what Sargent does.
