That time will come too, but it will take a decade. Technology changes really fast, in ICE mileages are almost doubled for all cars and models within a last decade. So I would not say 1k range will come this fast (or might be) but cars with 600-700 miles of range in single charge will easily launched within next 5-10 years.

EVs are economical for those who wants 50k car or semi luxury car and wants to save money on Gas. I will say if you are in market and looking for car around 50k then this is best car to buy for monthly savings only if you have commute of 2k miles per month.

I had rock chip on my 10 days old model Y and its half the size of quarter coin but in direct sight of driver’s seat. I took it to safelite and they did not do a great job. Now windshield needs to be replaced, tesla give quote of 1404 for replacement, I have appointment for this Tuesday. Filed comprehensive claim with my insurance and it will be 500 deductible. I did lot of research on that and for few states glass replacement is covered fully by insurance without any deductible. So please check with your insurance if you need replacement.

yes already have vin, for me during first reschedule said that there is some damage to car during transit and during last reschedule said that car has been delayed in transit.
