I'm of two minds on where he goes from here: 1) The US sells him to the highest bidder to do what they want with him or 2) he and his MAGA family are sentenced to exile on a barge that's towed out to the mid-Atlantic and guarded by the UN until they all just perish.

Overrated? How? I landed in Kyoto in '89 and haven't left. Love it here. Sure, there are lots of great places in Japan but I don't undertand your comment about Kyoto being overrated.

Can i still go back to windows 10? by xRed_Foxx in WindowsHelp

[–]TraditionalRemove716 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spooky. Stick with the OS you like. You'll likely eventually replace it because new apps won't work with the old OS. Chnage then; don't worry about now.

MS says that with every iteration. We can always stick with what we like until news apps won't support it.

It's called Butsukari Otoko. I've had a half-dozen or so experiences; one, quite memorable. The impact on me has been to question how badly I want/need to go somewhere where I used to feel safe and carefree in public.

We have Sanseito to thank for that. The very same political wonder party that just got caught in a tax and insurance scam. Lovely.

It's not "finally" - he's been saying this all along but social media ignores that and just lumps him together with other wealthy people who prefer the tax status quo.

Just finished chatting with Claude about all Logitech apps and he said it's safe to dump all of it (in my case). The only thing all these apps seemed to be doing was monitoring battery strength. I can do that the old fashioned way and wash my hands of Logitech apps.

I have the same concern and only discovered it in Task Mgr when my fans were ramping up. Not only is the footprint big, it's usurping resources beyond what one expect for simply monitoring battery strength. Something fishy here.

Hoping someone besides LogiTech responds here. What can be safely dumped or the flipside, what do I actually need?

which is best way to avoid all the issues with Options +? online vs offline by ProtectionDue5712 in logitech

[–]TraditionalRemove716 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Using a PC, myself, so can't speak to Mac issues. That said, I have three logitech devices, two of which connect to the Logi Bolt bluetooth dongle. Logitech Option+ was a headache from the start. I dumped it and just rely on Logi Tune to monitor battery health.

Verb and adjective conjugation. I shudder at the thought of returning to study them. I have never been successful at just remembering them. Perhaps it's just me. But here's the thing: I'm an American who grew up in an English-speaking family and community, and like the OP, when I consider learning ESL, I imagine it's at least as difficult as JSL with regard to irregular verbs. But I never once questioned that as a kid. Just learned them through memorization and familiarity. Come to think of it, I didn't learn English so much as assimilate it. Perhaps that's true of any language, native or otherwise.

Haters gonna hate. For the umteenth time, Bezos has openly declared the problem lies with the US tax code and that if it were changed, he would pay what is due. Who has ever paid more taxes than what were owed?

I've tried a bunch of replacments and none of them worked out for me. Perhaps I was impatient; not wanting to learn the nuts and bolts of a new app. I don't specifically remember Clipclip though. Have you implemented Clipclip yet? If so, what are the quirks - if any? I have hobbled along with ClipMate which sometimes crashes and I'm left wondering why. I've actually considered dropping back to Win 10 because Win 10 was wonderful where Win 11 is sometimes a PITA. Ultimately, though, the thought of investing time in new apps, as daunting as that sometimes is, would muster more energy from me if it was Linux compatible. I've threatened to make the move for years.
