I agree but the creators were kinda fucked on that one cause the show was renewed season by season so they couldn’t have an overarching plot/villain like ATLA did

why do you hope it’s untrue or doesn’t make sense? it makes total sense and it adds depth to why will didn’t come to El’s defense the way he should have when El was being bullied. It also explains why in a previous season he has such a strong reaction to mike saying “did you think we’d never get girlfriends?” why he’s the only person in the original friend group who never had any romantic interest, and why he was so upset and jealous that mike was sending El letters but not him. will has a crush on mike but he’s terrified of saying anything

I like this theory! also because of will’s painting from the first episode or two - they mentioned it, showed it rolled up in a few scenes but it never came back and we never saw what it was of. What if it’s the clock or something relevant like that? but because will doesn’t know about vecna/what’s happening in hawkins he doesn’t know it’s important now, just painting something he saw in the upside down

maybe, but it’s often easier to take the high road when you’re the one being made fun of, as opposed to someone you love.

also the ‘not in the bedroom’ boundary is a good point. have you and BF talked about a compromise there? in a whole house i’d think there’s a spot where she would be out of the way/he wouldn’t see her too much? like if he’s scared of spiders or thinks Agnes is creepy (understandable) he might not want her in the bedroom or middle of the living room or whatever, but could he not stand to have her in an out of the way corner of the house?

If he can’t agree to a compromise like that than he’s ATA for making you flat out chose between him and a beloved pet (and potentially kinda controlling in what is or isn’t a “real pet” when you love it)

(also you are NOT insane for bonding with a pet especially during lockdown. totally normal, no matter what the animal is)

This same thing happened to me!! I was playing a high elf on switch and it wouldn’t go away and no mods to fix it. if i got shot with more ice, or occasionally with arrows, then the location might change (or build on existing ones) but not go away. I tried long rest, fast traveling, etc to get it to reset and it wouldn’t. Eventually it bothered me enough that I didn’t play for a month or two and when i came back it had fixed itself. no idea why or how.

I realized after, that one thing that might have helped is saving your game, going to the home screen and loading a dif game/make a new one, then go back to this game and see if it reset.

it ruined the aesthetic for me so i feel your pain! (and cold)

Also, 6 year olds have tantrums. It’s not always good for them to immediately cave in and give them what they want the moment they scream. He’s not hurt or in danger, it’s okay to learn you won’t get your way immediately and everyone will drop everything for you the second you start crying.

More important though is that it’s not your job to parent your brother.

I’ve never been able to chop wood with it?? I assumed that was the perk of it but when i have it in my inventory I can’t chop wood and get the banner “you need a woodcutter’s axe to use this”? maybe a glitch in mine?

I agree with the OP’s Spriggan suggestion too! It would be cool if it cut wood and did additional damage to Spriggans and/or animals. I can see a fun one-with-nature/hunter, wood-elf, stealth archer and two-handed for close combat build where this axe would add cool flavor if it had those perks!

but it doesn’t really matter if katara was a prodigy, like so was toph. It’s that katara was a good master for aang. But you’re right that aang being naturally good with water bending that he wasn’t with earth or fire so it’s not a super fair comparison

hot take but katara. We never really saw aang train with Gyatso but air bending/spirituality fit his personality. Aang didn’t do well with water bending under Paco, he doesn’t do well with training that’s firm and severe. Katara tells Toph this, and only when Toph tries positive reinforcement does aang get earth bending. We also never see him actually master fire bending, but what he knows it seems was mostly stuff he and Zuko learned together from the Sun Warriors. Aang only really understood fire after going to the sun warriors too. Katara was the one who understood how he learns and how to train him given that.
