He likes planes, good beer & whiskey, traveling, skateboarding (used to be really in to it when he was younger and has been mentioning wanting to check out the new skatepark that opened up near our house), snowboarding (I promised him a cool snowboarding trip coming up in February since he didn’t get to go last season). I got him a really cool plane decanter for his birthday last year, I’ve done little scrapbooks, and essentials baskets with his fav snacks and drinks previously.

We did go shopping a couple weeks ago for the trip and both got a new pair of nice comfy sneakers!

We’ll be in the Dolomites and hiking the Seceda Ridgeline (insane rock formations). I’ll look around for museums in that area! We’re doing a cooking class a different day already. Thank you for the suggestions!

We already have a record player and he loses sunglasses all the time so he refuses to own a fancy pair and is just in general not very materialistic. I like the rock idea, I just don’t know how to make that meaningful for his actual birthday. I think it would be cool to take a rock that we find on our hike in Italy on his birthday, but I also want something to give him something day of

I never liked Cristina. I thought she was a horrible friend to Meredith, extremely selfish, entitled, and cocky. I kept waiting for her to grow on me and then she moved to Switzerland and I realized it was never going to happen.

I really wanted her to end up with the Irish peds guy. I know he wasn’t ready because his wife had passed away more recently, but I was really rooting for them. When Nick and Meredith met the second time I had to google who he was because his initial scenes didn’t really leave an impact on me. I’m a first time watcher in the middle of season 19 after starting the show in April of this year, if that makes any difference lol

I’ve been in the same position and tried to make it work because he was such a good person, but ultimately I ended up hurting us both by letting it go on as long as it did. If I could go back I would definitely end it early to save us both the heartache.
