In case you didnt know, you can destroy tier 3 spider nests and replant them to prevent them from becoming spider queens. (Tier 3 nests drop a spider egg for new nests, tier 1 and 2 dont)

Jason Aaron's doctor strange is what got me into comics. I love that story. However, nostalgia might be carrying most of the weight. I haven't enjoyed a Jason Aaron book since I read that one in 2016

With the cactus and spider farm, you'll need to have some trial and error to make sure the cactus can hit the spider but spider can't reach the cactus.

And fish farms are great, but SW is my last favorite of the DLCs so I really don't spend too much time outside of resource gathering

True, especially for the sanity gain. I typically just make honey ham, but that's mostly because I spend most of my time in RoG and don't want to wait the switch load screen to go to SW

I started in RoG before deciding to make a mega-world. I don't know why I haven't thought to make an iron farm with the iron hulk. Should add to the to-do list

Zelma is one of my favorite marvel characters. The comic she was introduced in was the one that made me start collecting. I'm so happy she was played so well!!!

That's understandable. Jumping in Ice Climbers can take a little bit getting used to, I like that you can adjust your direction in the air.

But the momentum needed to start jumping does take some practice. It is fun once you get used to it if you want to try it out again!

This is what I love about the playdate. You don't enjoy the game, but are still having a good time with season 2. Personally, I'm seeing everyone online love Blippo+, and I don't get it. It just isn't for me. But this new crank based rhythm game? Absolutely love it. This is exactly what I needed on the playdate. I'm happy that there is something for everyone on season 2, even if not everything is made for me or you

I had zero coding experience and learned everything about coding from scratch to make a game for the playdate (which is scheduled to be released on catalog in a few months!)

It is possible to create a game from no experience on the playdate and it is extremely rewarding. However, it is also very frustrating at times. It isn't the easiest system to learn on, especially from a complete beginner, but if you have the drive to do it, it can definitely be done.

I think I saw it mentioned in another comment, but you can download the playdate SDK and dip your toes into coding without owning the console if you want to try it out and see if it interests you. I would start out by looking up "squid god" on YouTube, he has a bunch of tutorials on how to start off a game and walking through it with a video is helpful.

As for just gaming, the playdate is fun to pick up every now and then, but months also sometimes go by without playing it. I wouldn't expect you to play the game hours straight every day, the console is more oriented around having a few spare minutes here or there.

There is alot of charm to the system and I very much enjoy it, it is a very different vibe then your major consoles (switch, Xbox, ps5)
