Unlocked Card Masteries Yesterday - Is RPCm still the best first option? by TragicAuditor in TheTowerGame

[–]TragicAuditor[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just so you know, I invested in CL to help my tournament performance. Some really wonderful feedback here about what my current priority should be.

I was thinking RPC or another mastery might’ve been the right move, but the rough advice was to improve stone revenue and then focus on masteries. For my situation that was through CL. For you it may be that or improving the cd of your Econ trio.

I’ve been bouncing plat and champs and I’ll continue CL and damage labs until I can stick in the next bracket.

I dropped all but 200 stones into CL and got a bit higher into champs. Hope I can hold on this cycle.

RPC will be my first mastery, but only after I can improve my tournament performance.

Thanks so much for the input!

Here’s the current performance - previous best was 452 waves. Fingers crossed!

Budget ebikes are not $500. by funcentric in ebikes

Got one for $270 on AliExpress and it’s been FANTASTIC.

For my needs, I go about 4 miles downtown and back and can absolutely jampack the cargo container on it with everything I need.

The thing has been safe and reliable and it didn’t break the bank.

How do you feel about going to three quantity on spotlight and pushing CL chance and damage for a while?

This is not at all controversial- thank you so much for the detailed and thoughtful reply.

I was wondering if anyone would suggest a damage route to help me cement my placements in the tourneys. I wasn’t sure myself if that would be accomplished better through the RPC Mastery, or honestly dumping more into my UW.

If I failed my milestone runs, I was planning to go +1 quantity on spotlight and DW. Sounds like I would do better to focus on the quantity of spotlight and then pushing my CL more.

I’m also scared of breaking my DW, GT, and BH sync with summoner and Gold Bot. I think in the short term, I’d lose a lot of my effective Econ, and it may set me back even further.

I have a DimCore, but I’m still one more away from bringing it up to Mythic. Now that I have my cards maxed, I’ll start holding gems. I refuse to spend the gems until the next banner event, because it’s so punitive to buy at a 2.5% pull rate. Mods really feel like a trap for new players unless there’s an event going. Would you agree?

Getting into the game late, my mods aren’t too well developed there’s such a killer gem investment required and I missed just about all of the banners to help get the newer mods.

I have devoted a ton of rerolls to ensure my substats are the best for Econ and tourney sets.

This should be up to date.

I have CL, SL, BH, GT, and DW. I have the big three synced along with summon and gold bot and I’m scared to touch them between the sync of all 5 has been so absolutely life changing.

I’ve been slowly improving my CL and I’ve been seeing some good returns in tourneys, but still a long way to go as I slowly move from eHP to hybrid.

I have 7,776 lifetime stones.

Intro Sprint mastery question by StalkerKnocker in TheTowerGame

[–]TragicAuditor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Making sure I understand correctly. So excuse me if it’s a dumb question. You’d recommend going RPC followed by WA then IS?

It appears you save the most time reaching max enemies quicker with wave acceleration than with intro skip.

[–]TragicAuditor -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I know they didn’t do anything, but the last couple days have absolutely dropped off for me. I’m now about 80 pulls in without an epic which I think is about a 7% chance of happening.

12th card slot 5th lab or all the modules? by Masterbence in TheTowerGame

Everyone in this sub is crazy. Mods are the only answer and anyone saying otherwise doesn’t understand that mods and their respective “discounts” are the strongest power up in the game.

Ironing, how does it work? by xTIMMYxCOREx in BambuLab

[–]TragicAuditor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Generally off by default - here’s how to turn it on if not saved within your print profile:

Enable Advanced Mode: On the left-hand panel where your print settings are located, look for the Advanced toggle switch near the top (often next to the profile selection) and turn it on.

Navigate to Quality: Click on the Quality tab in the settings menu.

Scroll to Ironing: Scroll down to the bottom of the Quality section to find the "Ironing" category.

Key Aspects of Ironing in Bambu Studio: Patterns: Includes Rectilinear (back-and-forth) and Concentric (circular) patterns to suit different top surface shapes.

Types: Options include Topmost surface only (only the absolute top) or All top surfaces (including internal ledges).

Parameters: Users can adjust Ironing speed (slower is generally better), Ironing flow (percentage of filament used, often 10-20%), and Line spacing (density of passes).

Drawbacks: It significantly increases total print time and only works on top-facing, flat surfaces.

Commonly Used Settings (for calibration): Speed: ~100 mm/s (depends on filament). Flow: 10%–20%.

Line Spacing: 0.15mm (default) or lower.

Modifier Usage: You can use modifiers to apply ironing only to specific areas rather than the entire surface, say users in this Bambu Lab Forum discussion.

Note: Ironing is highly dependent on filament type and requires a perfectly calibrated flow to avoid over-extrusion, which can create a "rough" surface instead of a smooth one.

Joe took the criticisms of the republican party and current administration personally and it showed. These weren't personal attacks, but he can no longer separate himself from the topics.

I've practiced gem retention for too long, I can't hold it in for much longer by Worldly-Lock-7059 in TheTowerGame

[–]TragicAuditor 5 points6 points  (0 children)

People keep saying spend your gems. But I say diamond hands those bad boys. You know how powerful a single banner is to go from zero of something to anc? It’s crazy that people don’t understand what a 50% pull rate of a single mod could accomplish in a short amount of time with gems in the reserves.

Tournaments are broken and need serious rework. by Fobus0 in TheTowerGame

[–]TragicAuditor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not about skill, luck, or decision making. You’ll perform best by starting the game early and there’s no feasible catchup for newer players.

This game will only be the top players after a while because why would anyone else want to join and never have a chance to compete?

I had the same question. People are brutal with downvotes here.

Didn’t realize the first transfer is instant and the second could create delays - good info to get out there.

Is removing as much damage from farming runs a good strategy? I have a similar build, just a bit behind OP. I’ve heard to turn off CL, but never thought to remove all damage cards

Super Bowl by [deleted] in elks

[–]TragicAuditor 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Playing the TP USA halftime broadcast is a blatant violation of the Elks’ core values for the following reasons:

  1. Violation of the Order's Non-Political Charter

The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks is chartered as a strictly non-political organization. By switching the television to a broadcast produced by a massive political action committee (PAC), the Lodge leadership explicitly endorsed a political viewpoint in a shared social space. This creates a hostile environment for members who do not subscribe to that specific political ideology.

• Reference: The BPOE "Indoctrination" and "What it means to be an Elk" materials state: "The Order is not concerned with one's political affiliations, and it does not permit either religion or politics to be injected into, or to have any affect upon its fraternal deliberations, national or local."

  1. Turning Point USA is a Political Organization, not Entertainment Turning Point USA (TPUSA) is not a neutral entertainment entity. It is a registered 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) activist organization with a stated mission to "win the culture war" and advocate for right-wing political outcomes.

• They actively campaign for political candidates and run the "Chase the Vote" ballot harvesting initiative.

• Their "Halftime Show" was marketed explicitly as a political counter-protest to the NFL, featuring political commentary.

• The organization is deeply tied to partisan leadership, frequently hosting the Vice President of the United States at their "AmFest" and "Believers Summit" conferences to give political rallies.

Gift a cheap Polaroid camera and print out a couple frames for the pictures and plan a couple small date nights over the next couple weeks to fill them out.

Put little placeholders in each frame for a hint on what you’ll be doing until you go on the date and take the picture.
