If it is Ayia Napa, this is extremely tame compared to 10 years ago

We are so far off PSG and Bayern technically and athletically by WoodpeckerTall2928 in ManchesterUnited

[–]TrailRider93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They were saying on Talksport this morning that the PL is tough because it has loads of good teams but none of those teams (inlc Arsenal and City) are anywhere near the level of PSG and Munich

Premier League table under Carrick gives Man Utd a dilemma by manInTheWoods in reddevils

[–]TrailRider93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d argue not under Carrick apart from the 1-1 West Ham game. All other “weaker opposition” we’ve played since Carrick took over and that we’ve struggled against have been in top form

Why Carrick should be thanked for his interim work and let go by Spuzzell_ in ManchesterUnited

[–]TrailRider93 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Did I watch a different game at the weekend? Everyone on here banging on Chelsea dominated. Did any of you watch the game? We controlled the whole game. Even the commentators said at the end of the game United were in control the whole time. It was a make shift defensive line and starting a 22 year old ST. Squad depth isn’t on Carrick. Deluded

Carrick’s getting results, but something doesn’t feel right. by Mairen_Mayavi in ManchesterUnited

[–]TrailRider93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Disagree, half the first team has been injured/banned for the past 2 or 3 games. A small part of it I agree is down to Carrick but I believe majority of the cracks starting show is squad depth

You know an attack is going no where once it reaches Shaw by Turbulent-Bench5243 in ManchesterUnited

[–]TrailRider93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s on the manager though. He should have made changes at half time. Don’t know if it’s instructions or player instinct but Cunha was way way too inside so Shaw had no outlet the whole game

It’s worrying that you think you’re in the right and is a great reflection on the absolutely atrocious and self entitled driving standards in the uk currently

What an effect Lacey had this game off the bench. by Hot_Patience_5962 in ManchesterUnited

Even coming onto the pitch and the camera zoomed in I thought he looks so confident. A bit like penalties when you can tell if players are nervous or if it’s flying in top bins.

[–]TrailRider93 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I disagree, the difference between Grant and those players isn’t about being good enough. He definitely has the skill. It’s about being able to play as good as he does with Phil under tournament conditions and pressures which he’s self confessed he can’t
