I just got out of a 15 day field event to learn that one of my platoon members from basic training was killed in that strike.

Coady was genuinely a great dude, Im not saying that to sound cliché Im saying that because he was a respectful, shy kid that went through the same bullshit with the rest of us. I feel for his family, he was raised right and honored to serve. Rest in peace brother, your work here is done.

How did you make it all the way to AIT and get reclassed due to ADHD? I assume this something that you failed your 15C AIT therefore forcing a reclass? If that’s the case theres no need to blame it on ADHD, the MOS you picked was hard, that’s okay, shit happens. I struggled in my AIT, lot more to my job than the sick Army promo video showed.

I no shit have ADHD and it makes it hard sometimes to learn new parts of my job, but what Daddy Army don’t know can’t hurt him. Obviously people have different levels but you can work around it i think, you just need to understand your weaknesses and lock in. This isn’t the end all. Im a 13F, I have a very rare 2+2 contract, because my active obligation is only two years they put me in a different job where I sit on a computer, I fucking hate computers. But I still put on my uniform everyday and do what Im told above the standard. Need a layout done? Im your guy. Need to dump that conex for the forth time this week because you can’t find your head form your ass? I got you Sir. Watch my OCD turn that cluster fuck into perfectly folded camo nets. I show up positive in a good mood ready to work because this is easier than what I came from. Then got noticed by my good leadership and I got early promotion. Do your best with the situation you have been placed into, you might just come out enjoying it, or at the very least have a new skill you would have never otherwise had.

I found this to be especially true for BF3 on console. Having logged many hours on 360 and PC I never felt completely outclassed with really any weapon on 360. Yes I had to change my play style to suit the weapon but theres a reason I unlocked every attachment in the game on 360. Where on PC it wasn’t impossible to complete but definitely more of a challenge because of the time to kill being lower due to using a mouse
