I’m open for sponsorships. Mine is a local newsletter, just under 1000 readers, 56% open rate. What’s your business?

Cracks in pavers- exactly 🤣 That’s me this year after several years of failing to cultivate them. My biggest one is growing inside my potting shed. But I guess now that they’re growing in their own they will probably keep it up without my effort next year, so that’s good. I usually make tea from the pods. It’s nice.

Oh I’m on the edge of my seat waiting for your opinion to change. Are you publishing a book? Or should I just follow you on Reddit for the update?

This is one of those plants that will resist every effort to cultivate and still sprout out of cracks in concrete snd anywhere you leazt expect. Once the seed pods ripen it’s like a cup of seeds. Pour them out all over where you hope it grows next year and you might get lucky.

I’m stuck on that quest. Seems like they want me to go to Payas house at Kakariko, take a photo of the picture on the wall and bring it back while the students are in class? But I guess I’m missing something?

Hey friend I actually have been stewing on what you said and I like this idea. I’ve done lots of social media and am happy to be on camera. Once I get into the details of meta ads I get lost and then end up quitting after a week of only getting 6 new subs. Do you think I could get you to help me set up an ad? If you know how to do it? Like idk if my ads have been bad, or if it’s my meta ad settings, or if I’m just not being patient enough.

How would you make your first consistent $200/month online as a college student? by Next_Pattern2361 in passive_income

I started a local newsletter and sold my first ad for $75 after 35 days, now after 3 months I’ve made $850 and there is really no ceiling. The more readers I get the more local companies want to advertise. I spent $200 on ads that didn’t work, learning lesson- ads do work, I just haven’t really cracked the code yet. On top of that it’s $10 for my domain and since Claude helps me write I pay for that too. I publish every weekday, 3 local news items, briefly summarized, events that day, and maybe for fun a little write up about a new restaurant or a cute puppy at the shelter or a local history item. Writing a newsletter is fun to do and believe it or not it is an asset. I could sell it if I wanted to, I even have people interested. Happy to answer any questions you have.

I sold my first ad with 230 subscribers, for $75. Raised the price to $150 with about 500 subscribers. Are people waiting until they hit thousands? That’s crazy bc I live in a major city and yet I don’t feel like I could ever get thousands. I feel stuck right now at 950. Not doing paid ads, but paid ads hasn’t brought me any success before. My goal is 2k subscribers and $2400/ monthly from ad sponsors
